The Best of Ferrari At The 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed
We love Ferrari. We love Goodwood. We love Ferrari at Goodwood.
The Ferrari team didn’t let us down at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed, bringing along a stable of classic and modern Ferraris that were all drool-worthy in every way.
The famed hillclimb included the new Ferrari F12tdf, 488 GTB, 488 Spider and California T and special one-off 458 MM Speciale that may just be my favorite Ferrari right now.
As expected, the fans voted for Ferrari as the Fan’s Favorite. Clearly Ferrari is a popular brand, but it also has a lot to do with the effort Ferrari puts into the Goodwood Festival of Speed. As fans, we thank Ferrari.
The Goodwood Festival is a great chance to launch new cars and Ferrari took the opportunity by releasing the Ferrari California T Handing Speciale, the Ferrari 488 Spider and the Ferrari F12tdf. Most exciting new car was the 458 MM Speciale which was commissioned by a UK collector, a one-off creation that wowed the crowds. The 458 MM Speciale proved to be the Fan’s Favourite in the Supercar Paddock and when driven on the hill.
Ferrari’s Corse Clienti department put on another incredible display of cars, with a 488 GT3, a FXX EVO, 599XX EVO and FFX K, as well as a 2009 Scuderia Ferrari F1 car driven by Marc Gene.
Celebrity guests at the event were international professional golfer and Ferrari collector Ian Poulter, actor, singer and model, Jamie Campbell-Bower, designer, writer and TV presenter Kevin McCloud, and TV presenter Julia Bradbury. Ferrari also hosted around 500 VIP guest and clients in a dedicated hospitality area overlooking the track, with a very exclusive private preview of the GTC4Lusso, Ferrari’s latest four-seat front-engined V12 which has a very sophisticated four-wheel drive system enabling secure traction in all conditions.
