Ferrari Debuts the Roma With a Turbocharged V8

The Ferrari Roma. A Brand New 612 hp Supercar

Ferrari teased a car earlier today and now it has officially debuted the car. Meet the Roma. The vehicle is a sleek coupe with a rakish windscreen, sensuous curves, some seriously attractive headlights, and a pointed nose with a large grille at the front. It’s a front-engined car with a hardtop, and it’s one of the more beautiful cars the Prancing Horse has come out with recently.

Inside the car, you can see that it’s one of the most high-tech cabins of any Ferrari. There’s a large digital instrument cluster, a unique vertically oriented infotainment screen in the center with some controls in front of it and the passenger has their own small horizontally oriented infotainment screen.

There’s also some beautiful swooping lines inside the cabin with an oval shape around the driver and around the passenger. The center stack is actually a floating one with what appears to be storage underneath the controls and screen.

The vehicle is powered by a 3.9-liter turbocharged 90-degree V8 engine. Ferrari didn’t release all of the numbers that go with this car, but it did say that the engine produces 612 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque. This engine is connected to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. It is the same that was used on the sF90 Stradale.

The car has a curb weight of 3,245 pounds. It can make the 0-62 mph sprint in just 3.4 seconds and run all the way up to 124 mph in 9.3 seconds. Its top speed is more than 199 mph. Ferrari has not released details about when it will be available at this time. The price of the car was also not stated in the press release.
