Fernando Alonso-Signed Aston Martin DBR22 Up For Grabs

One of only 22 examples produced

The Aston Martin DBR22 is a rare, limited-production speedster crafted by the brand’s Q division to celebrate a decade of bespoke creations. Revealed at Monterey Car Week in 2022, it pays tribute to 1950s racing icons like the DBR1 and DB3S with a striking open-cockpit design. Beneath the hood lies a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine producing 715 horsepower, mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, delivering power to the rear wheels and achieving a top speed of 195 mph.

This particular example, produced on 14 December 2023, is finished in Aston Martin Racing Green with vivid AMR Lime accents, including brake calipers. It rides on 22-inch satin centre-lock wheels and features matte black exhaust finishers. Inside, the Forest Green leather interior is accented with AMR Lime contrast stitching and matching carpets. Its bespoke configuration added €110,000 to the original price.

Delivered through Aston Martin Hilversum in the Netherlands, this DBR22 carries a chassis number ending in “14,” referencing Fernando Alonso’s race number. The two-time Formula 1 World Champion personally signed the dashboard and accompanying booklets during a visit to the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix.

Showing just 177 kilometers on the odometer, this virtually brand-new DBR22 is a stunning collector’s piece. It’s being offered for sale by RM Sotheby’s as part of the Shift Online: Europe and Middle East auction and pairs perfectly with a matching Aston Martin Valour, which is also up for bid.
