Ferrari F430 Scuderia

For all that have recently purchased their F430 Coupe, a little patience until today’s announcement might have been worth the wait.

At the upcoming Frankfurt Autoshow, Ferrari will unveil their F430 Scuderia which is the ‘Challenge Stradale’ or ‘Light Pista’ we’ve all been waiting for. The announcement doesn’t come as a surprise since several of the test mules have been spotted in and around the Maranello factory.

As one would expect, the Scuderia drops a huge amount of weight and increases power to 510 bhp. The interior gets a similar treatment to the 360CS with its lack of carpeting and carbon fibre-backed seats.

On the outside, the F430’s classic sharknose intakes are replaced by much more aggressive and larger apatures that better suit the lines of the car. Hopefully the shout-out stripes seen on the showcar are optional as they seem a bit like an afterthought.

Most likely, the Scuderia which means team in Italian will be homologated, which could mean that next year’s F430GT might get a fresh update.
