Everrati, or Everrati Automotive Limited in full, specializes in taking automotive icons into the EV roam, they want to redefine and future-proof these cars for years to come, as we all know the internal combustion engine era is coming to an end in a hurry, and while I’m sure we’ll be seeing ‘classics’ on the road, it might become more and more difficult to keep driving these ‘dinosaurs’ as some call them, so if you can have the looks of an automotive icon, but battery powered, that might just be the best of two worlds.
In collaboration with Superformance, Everrati has officially unveiled their latest flagship to the public during the Concours of Elegance in Hampton Court Palace, as part of the Bridge of Weir Leather enclosure from 2-4 September, the Everrati GT40, their new high-performance, zero-emission vehicle, Everrati’s GT40 sees automotive OEM-level development processes and technology allied to the latest state-of-the-art electric motors and batteries to both enhance and preserve the legacy of the legendary racer.
Everrati’s proprietary EV powertrain can deliver up to 800bhp and an impressive 800Nm of torque, add the 62.5kWh lithium-ion battery into the mix and you’ll experience some amazing acceleration in this new GT40 incarnation, reaching the magical 62mph will take less than four seconds while this all-electric, classic-looking GT40 will reach a top speed in excess of 125mph, and what’s more, thanks to the partnership with Superformance, the Everrati GT40 EV will actually be listed in the official Shelby Registry, a first for any all-electric GT40.
Bridge of Weir Leather, a global leader in sustainability, innovation, and responsible leather production, was contacted to create the stunning-looking interior found inside the Everrati GT40 EV, using their unique lightweight leather for enhanced weight saving, whilst also being the world’s lowest carbon-intense leather, and the color combination looks amazing as a contrast with the dark exterior of this show car.
At the 2022 Concours of Elegance, Everrati also showcased the world’s first electrified widebody Porsche 911 (964) Cabriolet model, this iconic 1989 silhouette has been respectfully restored by Everrati’s expert team and redefined to be enjoyed in true 21st-century style, but there is also an EV Land Rover Series IIA, a true British icon, this off-roader packs a 60kWh battery with a power output of 150bhp and 300Nm of torque to strengthen this off-roaders’s original character, coupled with a true zero-emission range of up to 150 miles.
Justin Lunny, Founder and CEO of Everrati, comments: “We’re delighted to be introducing our flagship, award-winning GT40 model to crowds at the renowned Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace this week, alongside the world’s first electric Porsche 911 (964) Cabriolet model. Each is an embodiment of the OEM-level technology, expertise and attention to detail found in each of our future-proofed icons. As we continue to expand both our global footprint and product portfolio, the GT40 is at the apex of our performance offering.”
