In their newest video, Hagerty tasked Henry Catchpole to drive the latest high-performance hybrid to enter the market; the Mercedes-AMG GT63 SE Performance.
This car combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with an electric motor, producing a total of 805 horsepower and 1,420 Nm of torque. Despite the hybrid system adding 220 kg, it improves the car’s weight distribution to 51:49. The GT63 SE Performance accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds, surpassing even the AMG One hypercar.
