Driving the Last Pagani Huayra Roadster

Few cars ignite passion like a Pagani, and driving one is a bucket-list moment—especially when it’s the 100th and final Pagani Huayra Roadster.

This masterpiece is finished in Mambo Black exposed carbon fiber with a striking carbon-and-yellow interior. Beneath its sculpted hood lies a 6.0L twin-turbocharged V12 producing 754 horsepower. What makes this Roadster even more impressive is its weight—or lack thereof. Despite its massive V12, it’s 100 kg lighter than a Ferrari Pista, tipping the scales at just 1,280 kg. This lightweight design is complemented by active aerodynamics, with flaps adjusting in real time to keep the car flat through corners.

Pagani chose to stick with a single-clutch gearbox, which adds to the car’s raw character. Shifting gears feels mechanical and engaging, especially when using the exposed gear linkage. On the winding D955 road at sunset, every corner and straight became a celebration of engineering perfection. Despite being a work of art, this car is no garage queen. Its owner, has put thousands of miles on it.
