The Dodge Demon 170 and Ferrari 812 GTS are two completely different cars, especially if you consider their prices. But that didn’t stop the folks from Hennessey as they lined up them together in a series of drag races!
The Challenger SRT Demon 170 represents one of the last V8 Mopar muscle cars, built to dominate the quarter-mile track. Its 6.2-liter Supercharged HEMI V8 engine pumps out 912 horsepower and 1,096 Nm of torque on regular fuel, with an additional 100 horsepower available on E85. This setup propels it from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and covers the quarter mile in less than ten.
Opposite it stands the Ferrari 812 GTS, hailed as a true embodiment of Italian luxury and performance. Its 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine delivers 789 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque, showcasing a different approach to speed and refinement. Despite the power disadvantage, the Ferrari’s lighter build adds an intriguing dynamic to the drag race.
