The new Dodge Demon made its first public appearance at the Las Vegas Speed Motorway and immediately impressed everyone! The Demon 170 achievds an astonishing acceleration rate, rocketing to 60 miles per hour in an astonishing 1.66 seconds. It also showcased its prowess by having a quarter-mile time of just 8.91 seconds at an impressive 151.17 mph.
The Demon 170 is powered by a heavily modified 6.2-liter V8 capable of producing up to 1,025 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a staggering 945 pound-feet of torque at 4,200 rpm when fueled with E85 fuel. Even when running on E10 gasoline, the engine can generate an impressive output of 900 hp and 810 lb-ft. This outstanding capability is made possible by a series of significant hardware upgrades to the engine.
