This ultimate guide serves as your key to unlocking the garage of dreams, providing a comprehensive overview of the most desirable exotic and supercars currently on sale. We'll delve into the heart of each brand, exploring their unique philosophies, iconic models, and latest creations that ignite the passions of automotive enthusiasts worldwide. Prepare for a deep dive into the world of supercars on sale today.
It has been very interesting watching the evolution of the supercar segment over the past two decades. For the most part, this period has provided a boon for the automotive industry while creating a much more competitive environment. This in turn has really driven innovation and investment in the supercar space, leading to a higher standard and greater selection of products. Now, the supercar experience is accessible to a larger and more diverse demographic than ever before. While exotic automobiles still remain relatively expensive today, their exponentially improved performance, build quality, dependability and utilitarianism is justifiably drawing in more customers.
As a customer, this has been nothing short of a positive experience - and one that seems to keep getting better every year. Gone are the days when supercars were few and far between, outrageously expensive, predictably unreliable, and very costly to maintain. No longer is owning a supercar only practiced by the uber wealthy, or for borderline automotive masochists - it has become just as enticing for the pragmatists out there, too.
With respect to supercars and exotics, 2025 continues the streak of ushering in another year full of optimism and excitement. All the major players in this space have kept their supercar lineups feeling fresh, with the likes of Ferrari and McLaren providing mild updates and new trims to their range. It’s exciting times at Aston Martin, Lamborghini and even Ford with a number of new models.
What's New for 2025
In recent years we have slowly seen supercars like the Audi R8, Ferrari F8 and Ford GT leave the new car ranks for good, with no replacements in sight. The McLaren 720S has been update for 2025, now in McLaren 750S guise. Likewise for the Artura, which was updated for 2025, fixing all of the issues the earlier version of the car had. The most interesting new models to arrive for 2025 are the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish and the Lamborghini Temerario, the replacement for the epic Huracan. We included the Aston Martin Valhalla on our list because we heard Aston will actually start selling them this year as a 2026 model year car.

2025 Aston Martin DB12
Our Take: Compelling choice if you want a sexy, luxurious and powerful GT
Overview
The 2025 Aston Martin DB12 signals a new era for the British marque, redefining the grand touring experience with a potent blend of performance, luxury, and technology. Dubbed the world's first "Super Tourer," the DB12 elevates Aston Martin's signature driving dynamics and craftsmanship to new heights. It replaces the outgoing DB11, boasting a sharper design, a more powerful engine, and a significantly upgraded interior.
Under the hood of the DB12 lies a handcrafted 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG but meticulously tuned by Aston Martin engineers. This potent powerplant delivers an impressive 671 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, representing a significant increase over its predecessor. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels, allowing the DB12 to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 202 mph. The DB12 also features a sophisticated suspension system and electronic limited-slip differential, ensuring exceptional handling and agility on both road and track.
Inside the cabin, the DB12 showcases a completely redesigned interior that blends modern technology with Aston Martin's traditional craftsmanship. A new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes center stage, offering a more intuitive and responsive user experience. This system incorporates wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Aston Martin's own connected car services.
The interior is swathed in luxurious materials, including supple leather, hand-stitched accents, and carbon fiber trim. With its combination of exhilarating performance, exquisite craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology, the 2025 Aston Martin DB12 sets a new benchmark for grand touring excellence.
Pricing & What's New
The price of the 2025 Aston Martin DB12 is expected to start around $248,086 and go up to $270,000 depending on the trim and options. Pricing for the convertible isn't nailed down yet, but we expect it to be around $270k.
Coupe: Starting at $248,086
Volante: Starting at $270,000
The DB12 comes essentially fully loaded with only some appearance items available as options.
Obviously no changes since it is an all-new model that was first launched in 2024. We expect that late in 2025 we will see some additional updates and special models starting to make some noise.
What They're Saying
"The greatest Aston Martin EVER? It might just be...Aston's finally delivered the gorgeous looks, the amazing driving Dynamics, and that extra layer of gloss..." - Top Gear
2025 Aston Martin Vanquish
Our Take: Unmatched performance. Exhilarating handling. Best modern Aston.
Overview
The 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish marks the triumphant return of a legendary nameplate, representing the pinnacle of Aston Martin's performance and design prowess. This all-new supercar embodies the brand's commitment to delivering a visceral and exhilarating driving experience, wrapped in a stunningly beautiful package. It's a car that commands attention and delivers on its promise of exceptional performance.
At the heart of the Vanquish lies a new 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, a masterpiece of engineering that produces a staggering 824 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. This makes it the most powerful production car Aston Martin has ever created. The engine is mounted in a front-mid-engine configuration, contributing to the car's optimal weight distribution and handling balance. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing the Vanquish to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a blistering 3.1 seconds and achieve a top speed in excess of 214 mph.
Pricing & What's New
The price of the 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish is expected to start at around $430,000. Still no word on options and details, but our guess is you can spend a lot more on options.
The Vanquish is all-new for 2025. It is a totally new model with a powerful all-new 5.5 liter twin-turbo V12.
What They're Saying
The vaunted Vanquish returns to Aston Martin’s lineup for 2025 with a sportier focus than ever before. Its new twin-turbocharged V-12 engine makes stupefying power and torque, and its bespoke platform gives it impressive handling acumen. - Motor Trend
2026 Aston Martin Valhalla
Our Take: A true supercar, with a carbon-fiber chassis and F1-aerodynamics.
Overview
The Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine hybrid supercar has been in the making for a long time. First teased as the 003 back in 2019, the Valhalla—as it is now known—is finally slated to go into production in mid-2025. As with the outrageous Aston Martin Valkyrie, the Valhalla is a race car for the road, drawing inspiration from Formula 1 and utilizing lightweight materials and active aerodynamics.
The Aston's exterior boasts an exaggerated version of the company's trademark grille along with slippery bodywork. Its central tub is composed of carbon fiber, and the Valhalla's exotic nature will be accentuated by dihedral doors. Power comes from a twin-turbo V-8 sourced from Mercedes-AMG—Aston's Formula 1 engine supplier—mated to a plug-in-hybrid system that generates a combined 1064 horsepower. The gas engine feeds power to the rear tires, while the front tires are powered by a pair of electric motors.
Aston estimates a top speed of 217 mph and a 2.5-second leap to 62 mph. We think the latter number is extremely conservative given the launch advantages of the all-wheel-drive powertrain. The Valhalla will also have an EV mode, which Aston Martin claims is good for around nine miles of all-electric range.
Pricing & What's New
The price of the 2026 Aston Martin Valhalla is expected to start around $1,000,000. Aston Martin will build no more than 999 Valhallas, and each is estimated to cost around $1,000,000. We're hopeful Aston will make an open-top version too.
After years of wondering when the Aston Martin Valhalla would be seen on ritzy boulevards and famous racetracks, we finally have an answer: It'll be 2025 as a 2026 model. Deliveries should start in the second half of 2025.
2025 Ferrari 296 GTB/GTS
Our Take: The most fun new Ferrari in a generation. Who needs a V8.
Overview
The Ferrari 296 GTB and 296 GTS represent a new era in mid-engined, V6-powered Ferrari sports cars. They share a common platform and powertrain, but each offers a unique character and driving experience.
The 296 GTB is a coupe that embodies the essence of Ferrari's mid-engined sports cars. Its sleek and aerodynamic design is a testament to Ferrari's commitment to both beauty and performance. Under the hood, a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine delivers a staggering 663 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque. This power is coupled with a 163-hp electric motor, creating a combined output of 830 horsepower. The 296 GTB can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 205 mph.
The 296 GTS, on the other hand, is a convertible that offers the same exhilarating performance as the GTB, but with the added thrill of open-air driving. Its retractable hardtop seamlessly integrates into the car's design, preserving its sleek silhouette when closed and transforming it into a roadster when open. The 296 GTS is just as fast as the GTB, with a 0-60 mph time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 203 mph.
Both the 296 GTB and 296 GTS offer a unique blend of performance, efficiency, and driver engagement. The hybrid powertrain provides a powerful and responsive driving experience, while also reducing fuel consumption and emissions. The chassis is meticulously engineered to deliver exceptional handling and agility, ensuring a thrilling driving experience on any road.
Pricing & What's New
The 2025 Ferrari 296GTB starts at around $343k, while the 296GTS comes in at a decent premium, starting at $376k
296 GTB: Starts at $343,000
296 GTS: Starts at $376,000
The GTS gives you all the fun of the coupe with some of that open-top drama and engagement we love. Get the GTS.
No new changes for either the 296GTB or 296GTS for the 2025 model year.
What They're Saying
The 296 GTB is a revelation, offering a level of performance and agility that's simply astonishing. - Car and Driver
2025 Ferrari SF90 Stradale/Spider
Our Take: A technological tour de force, but ultimately missing the "special" factor.
Overview
The 2025 Ferrari SF90 Stradale continues to redefine the boundaries of performance with its innovative plug-in hybrid powertrain, delivering exhilarating speed and surprising efficiency. However, for this model year, Ferrari has decided to offer the SF90 exclusively as a Spider (convertible), bidding farewell to the coupe version. This allows drivers to fully experience the symphony of the SF90's engine and the thrill of open-air driving, with the added benefit of reduced weight compared to the previous coupe.
The SF90 Stradale Spider boasts a potent combination of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors, generating a combined output of 986 horsepower. This translates to breathtaking acceleration, with a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. The electric motors not only contribute to the SF90's incredible performance but also provide a limited electric-only driving range, allowing for silent and emission-free cruising in urban environments. The retractable hardtop seamlessly integrates into the car's design, preserving its sleek silhouette when closed and transforming it into an open-air thrill machine when open.
Ferrari will also sell you one or two limited edition, track-focused versions of the SF90, called the SF90 XX Stradale and SF90 XX Spider. Technically you can walk into a dealership in 2025 and buy one. In reality you cannot so lets not go too into the details about those models here.
Pricing & What's New
The 2025 Ferrari SF90 starts at around $590,000, a slight premium over the 2024 model year variants.
SF90 Spider: Starts at $590,000
SF90 XX Stradale: Starts at $890,000
SF90 XX Spider: Starts at $995,000
If you are driving on the road, the only option is the Spider since the XX variants are track cars. In terms of options, if you're in this price range, its all personal taste and preference.
Ferrari is no longer offering the standard SF90 in coupe Stradale form; the standard SF90 model is now only available as a drop-top Spider. The XX version remains for sale in both Stradale and Spider body styles.
What They're Saying
The seamless integration of the hybrid system makes the SF90 feel like a naturally aspirated car with an extra boost of power. - Motor Trend
2025 Ford Mustang GTD
Our Take: Dream come true for Mustang fans who want ultimate track weapon
Overview
The Ford Mustang GTD is not just a muscle car; it's a declaration of war. Aimed squarely at the likes of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, this limited-production, street-legal track weapon is the most extreme Mustang ever created. Born from Ford's desire to conquer the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife with a sub-seven-minute lap time, the GTD is a showcase of cutting-edge technology and uncompromising performance.
Under its menacingly wide bodywork lurks a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine, projected to churn out over 800 horsepower. This monstrous powerplant is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transaxle mounted at the rear, contributing to a near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution. The GTD's aerodynamics are equally impressive, with active elements like a massive rear wing and hydraulically controlled front flaps that optimize downforce and drag. A carbon fiber driveshaft, titanium exhaust, and forged magnesium wheels further contribute to the GTD's performance-focused ethos.
But the GTD's track-focused intentions don't come at the expense of everyday usability. While the interior is stripped down compared to a standard Mustang, it retains essential creature comforts like air conditioning and a touchscreen infotainment system. The Recaro sport seats provide exceptional support during spirited driving, while the available Miko suede and leather upholstery adds a touch of luxury. With its combination of extreme performance, aggressive styling, and surprising practicality, the Ford Mustang GTD is a truly special machine that redefines what a Mustang can be.
Pricing & What's New
The price of the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD supercars starts at $325k and its only available in the one trim.
Mustang GTD: Starts at $325,000
This is one super-unique, never seen before Mustang. Options? Who cares. This thing has a dry-sump version of the 760-hp Mustang Shelby GT500 engine, with 815 horsepower. I'll take it as-is thanks.
It is totally new and totally insane. Limited to just 1,000 units.
What They're Saying
With over 800 horsepower and a sub-seven-minute Nürburgring lap time in its sights, the GTD is poised to rewrite the rules of muscle car performance. - Motor Trend
2025 Lamborghini Revuelto
Our Take: A fitting successor to the Aventador...a more sophisticated beast.
Overview
The 2025 Revuelto is intentionally designed to blur the lines between supercar and hypercar, as it does have the functionality and usability of a supercar, but has power, acceleration, and a price that is near a hypercar. The car is a total rethink of the V12 flagship of the Raging Bull brand. Take, for example, that the car is the debut of Lamborghini's new "mono-fuselage," which takes the carbon-fiber monocoque concept and extends it all the way to the front end with carbon composites fused to the monocoque. This adds significant torsional rigidity and allows for a much more streamlined front end, as there is no need to bolt a front structure to the cabin.
The 6.5L Lamborghini V12 also has been updated, now reaching a screaming 9,300 RPM redline and producing a hefty 814 HP all on its own. That is then combined with three electric motors, one for each front wheel and one in the 8 speed dual-clutch transaxle, which add another 147 HP overall. This gives the car 1,001 HP, with the batteries for the motors being charged either through regenerative braking with the motor in the transaxle, or via plugging in to charge.
Pricing & What's New
The price of the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto starts at $608,358.
Revuelto: $608,358
This trim is the fully-powered performance hybrid hypercar version, with 1,001 HP and is also the fastest accelerating non-limited edition car that Lamborghini has ever produced.
While future models may have less power, fewer motors, or be Spyders, for now, the new Revuelto is the most powerful and fastest acceleration regular production car to ever come from Sant'Agata Bolognese.
Only one trim of the Revuelto is currently offered for the 2025 model year.
What They're Saying
A masterpiece of engineering and integration...the electric motors never feel like a band-aid, just a boost to an already phenomenal V12. - Car and Driver
2025 Lamborghini Temerario
Our Take: A fitting successor to the Aventador...a more sophisticated beast.
Overview
The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario explodes onto the scene as the successor to the Huracán, ushering in a new era of electrified performance for the Italian supercar maker. This V8-powered hybrid machine boasts a revolutionary powertrain, combining a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 engine with three electric motors. This setup generates a staggering 907 horsepower, allowing the Temerario to rocket from 0 to 60 mph in a mind-bending 2.5 seconds. The electric motors not only contribute to the Temerario's incredible acceleration but also provide a limited electric-only driving range, showcasing Lamborghini's commitment to sustainable performance.
The Temerario's design is a masterpiece of aerodynamic efficiency and aggressive styling. Sharp lines and dramatic angles define its silhouette, while active aerodynamic elements optimize airflow and downforce for maximum performance. The interior is a driver-focused cockpit, with a futuristic dashboard layout and advanced technology features. A large touchscreen infotainment system provides access to navigation, entertainment, and vehicle settings, while a digital instrument cluster displays critical performance data.
Beyond its impressive performance and striking design, the Temerario introduces innovative technologies to enhance the driving experience. Rear-wheel steering improves agility and stability, while a new active aerodynamics system optimizes downforce and drag depending on driving conditions. With its combination of groundbreaking hybrid technology, breathtaking performance, and head-turning design, the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario is poised to become a legend in the world of supercars.
Pricing & What's New
The price of the 2025 Lamborghini Temarario is expected to start at just under $300k.
Temerario: $290,000 est
Expect to pay over $350,000 for even a modestly equipped car when complete.
The Temerario is an entirely new offering for 2025.
What They're Saying
With 907 horsepower on tap, the Temerario is going to be an absolute rocket ship, capable of embarrassing many hypercars.
2025 Maserati MC20
Our Take: A performance bargain and one of the best-looking cars in generations
Overview
The Maserati MC20 enters 2025 with an expanded lineup and exciting new options for discerning enthusiasts. This mid-engined supercar, a showcase of Maserati's performance prowess and design innovation, continues to turn heads and ignite passions.
The "base" MC20 Coupe and MC20 Cielo Spyder remain the core of the lineup, both powered by a ferocious 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, dubbed the "Nettuno."This technological marvel generates 621 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque, propelling the MC20 from 0 to 60 mph in a blistering 2.9 seconds.
But the MC20 stable expands for 2025 with the introduction of the MC20 GT2 Stradale. This track-focused variant takes inspiration from Maserati's return to GT2 racing, featuring aerodynamic enhancements, a stripped-down interior, and a retuned suspension for enhanced performance on the circuit. While still road-legal, the GT2 Stradale is designed for those who crave the ultimate in on-track thrills.
Further acknowledging Maserati's racing heritage, two limited-edition models join the fray: the MC20 Icona and the MC20 Leggenda. These exclusive variants pay homage to the iconic MC12 race car from two decades ago, adopting distinctive paint schemes and unique design elements that celebrate Maserati's motorsport legacy. Whether you crave open-top thrills, track-focused performance, or a tribute to Maserati's racing heritage, the 2025 MC20 lineup offers a compelling option for every discerning enthusiast.
Pricing & What's New
The price of the 2025 Maserati MC20 starts at $243,000 and jumps all the way to $350k+ if you want to go racing in the GT2 version.
MC20 Coupé: Starts at $243,000
MC20 Cielo: Starts at $277,000
MC20 GT2 Stradale: Starts at 350,000
The coupe is our pick. Its one of the sexiest cars we have ever laid our eyes on.
For 2025 there is the new GT2 Stradale, a street-legal variant of Maserati's GT2 race car. There are also some special edition cars in the Icona and Leggenda. They get unique paint schemes to mimic the MC12 race cars.
What They're Saying
The MC20 is a performance bargain. It's faster than many supercars that cost twice as much. - Motor Trend
2025 McLaren 750S
Our Take: This 720S refresh is savagely quick and still the best supercar around.
Overview
The McLaren Super Series was been given new life by the introduction of the 750S Coupe and Spider models, which are based on the the same chassis and platform as the now discontinued 720S, but made with 30% all new parts. The 750S replaced the 720S in both coupe and spider forms in 2023 and continues in 2025 with a number of tweaks and updates (mostly cosmetic). The 765LT ended production in Q3 2024, although an LT version of the 750S is expected to be announced this year with orders opening in 2025.
The 750S is the replacement for the outgoing 720S. Lighter weight, with more power, it took all the lessons learned in the 7 years of the 720S' life and applied them to make the ultimate Super-series McLaren. This is exemplified in the supercar being a sort of "Greatest Hits" collection from models past, combined with new materials and technologies, for example the active aerodynamics from the P1, combined with the (optional) carbon-ceramic brakes from the Senna, while keeping the basic shape of the 720S, but made with lighter and stronger carbon fiber in what they label "Carbon Fiber Monocage ver. II"
The convertible variant of the 750S comes with a folding hardtop. The Spider retains the same DNA as the Coupe, with the new Carbon Fiber Monocage Ver. II adding a boatload of torsional rigidity. This allows for the Spider to be able to perform just as well as its brother, including reaching a top speed of 206 mph with the top either up or down. That folding hardtop, by the way, will lower or raise in under 13 seconds, and can be operated at up to 31 mph.
Pricing & What's New
The 2025 McLaren 750S starts at around $318,085, but don't expect to walk out of a dealership spending that much.
750S Coupe: Starts at $318,085
750S Spider: Starts at $337,195
We would get the Spider because dynamically it is just as good as the Coupe. Options wise, you can go nuts and the folks in the MSO department are happy to help part you with as money as you want.
There are a few updates for 2025. Thgere is a cool new Stealth Badge package which gives you black badges. You can also get your 750S with body-color carbon-fiber front fenders.
What They're Saying
The 750S delivers a truly visceral driving experience. The acceleration is brutal, the sound is intoxicating, and the grip is phenomenal. - Motor Trend
2025 McLaren Artura
Our Take: A stunningly beautiful car with recent updates making it near perfect.
Overview
The McLaren Artura, offered in both coupe and spider configurations, represents a pivotal moment for the British automaker. It's their first series-production hybrid supercar, showcasing McLaren's commitment to innovation and sustainable performance without sacrificing the exhilarating driving experience they're renowned for. Both versions share a revolutionary carbon fiber chassis and a potent hybrid powertrain, but each offers a unique character and appeal. There were several mechanical updates for 2025 that have literally transformed the Artura into the car we always wanted it to be. A total game changer.
The Artura coupe embodies the essence of a modern supercar, with its sleek and aerodynamic design optimized for both performance and efficiency. Its dihedral doors open upwards, creating a dramatic entrance and revealing a driver-focused cockpit that blends luxury and technology. The heart of the Artura is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine paired with an electric motor, generating a combined output of 671 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. This potent hybrid system propels the Artura coupe from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds, accompanied by a thrilling soundtrack.
For those seeking the exhilaration of open-air driving, the Artura Spider delivers the same electrifying performance with the added thrill of the wind in your hair. Its retractable hardtop, which can be lowered in just 15 seconds, seamlessly integrates into the car's design, preserving its aerodynamic profile when closed. The Spider's lightweight engineering ensures that it maintains the coupe's exceptional handling and performance, offering a truly engaging and immersive driving experience. Whether you choose the coupe or the spider, the McLaren Artura represents a new era of performance and efficiency, showcasing the future of supercars.
Pricing & What's New
The update for 2025 McLaren Artura starts at around $256k for the coupe and $281k for the spider version.
Artura Coupe: Starts at $256,308
Artura Spider: Starts at $281,008
We would take the coupe and save $25k. We like the coupe design more and the engine doesn't sound good enough that having no roof makes a difference.
In addition to the new Spider convertible model, both the Artura coupe and Spider see a 19-hp boost in power (which is always nice). Mechanically, there is more going on and the updates are major. The Artura gets revised valving for the adaptive dampers, faster damper response, a retuned exhaust, increased stiffness, and new aerodynamic ducting designed to increase airflow and improve cooling capability of the engine. There are also some cosmetic updates and safety updates.
What They're Saying
Although the term “everyday supercar” is too often thrown around, the 2025 McLaren Artura Spider mostly fits that bill if and when you want it to be. You can drive it like you stole it one minute and to the drugstore the next - Motor Trend
