Everything You Need to Know About 2025 Hypercars On Sale. The Ultimate Hypercar Buyers Guide And Our Opinion On the Best New Hypercar This Year.
Hypercars are the new zenith in today’s automotive landscape, transcending the boundaries of the supercar to create a space occupied only by the most outlandish things that can still be called cars. While some of the relatively larger luxury and exotic car companies have created their own interpretations of the hypercar, many of these vehicles have been crafted by speciality automotive boutiques or singular-focused companies who are looking to showcase new technologies or smash land speed records. It is these very outfits that we will be focusing on, in this list of hypercars that are available to purchase in 2025. In terms of the everyday automobile, none of these will be household names; but they will be more than familiar to those who worship the automotive deities.
Below we have a list of the production focused hypercars versus the race variants that have popped up in recent years. If you are in the market for a hypercar in 2025, the below list includes hypercars that are currently for sale, those that are supposedly "sold out" and the ones we expect to see imminently and ones we know manufacturers are taking deposits and speccing cars for buyers now. We also didn't dive into the track-special hypercars because this page is more focused on production cars.
We'll delve into the performance figures, technological innovations, and design philosophies that define each hypercar. We'll examine the limited production numbers, the often secretive ordering processes, and the astronomical prices that come with owning these automotive masterpieces. If you're fortunate enough to be shopping in this realm, where exclusivity and performance reign supreme, this guide is your essential companion.
What's New for 2025
2025 is an interesting year in terms of hypercars because we are expecting to actually see deliveries of some of the most anticipated hypercars that have been tantalizingly close for the last few years. We should see the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Mercedes-AMG Project One being delivered this year. In terms of the hypercar regulars like Bugatti, Koenigsegg and Pagani, we expect to see a number of additional one-off special edition cars being released for special clients. 2025 Ferrari SF90 Stradale/Spider
Our Take: A technological tour de force, but ultimately missing the "special" factor.
Overview
The 2025 Ferrari SF90 Stradale continues to redefine the boundaries of performance with its innovative plug-in hybrid powertrain, delivering exhilarating speed and surprising efficiency. However, for this model year, Ferrari has decided to offer the SF90 exclusively as a Spider (convertible), bidding farewell to the coupe version. This allows drivers to fully experience the symphony of the SF90's engine and the thrill of open-air driving, with the added benefit of reduced weight compared to the previous coupe.
The SF90 Stradale Spider boasts a potent combination of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors, generating a combined output of 986 horsepower. This translates to breathtaking acceleration, with a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. The electric motors not only contribute to the SF90's incredible performance but also provide a limited electric-only driving range, allowing for silent and emission-free cruising in urban environments.
Ferrari will also sell you one or two limited edition, track-focused versions of the SF90, called the SF90 XX Stradale and SF90 XX Spider. Technically you can walk into a dealership in 2025 and buy one. In reality you cannot so lets not go too into the details about those models here.
Pricing
The 2025 Ferrari SF90 starts at around $590,000, a slight premium over the 2024 model year variants.
SF90 Spider: Starts at $590,000
SF90 XX Stradale: Starts at $890,000
SF90 XX Spider: Starts at $995,000
If you are driving on the road, the only option is the Spider since the XX variants are track cars. In terms of options, if you're in this price range, its all personal taste and preference.
What They're Saying

2025 Ferrari F80
Our Take: A new Ferrari halo car takes it place on top of the Ferrari lineup
Overview
Ferrari has revealed the F80 hypercar, which is the successor of the LaFerrari. It is the Italian marque’s most powerful road car to date with a 1,200hp hybrid V6 powertrain that combines technology from the company’s Le Mans-winning 499P, along with that of its Formula 1 cars. Priced from $3 million, the F80 will be limited to just 799 units, and it's sold out.
The F80 gets a new version of Ferrari’s 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. It can rev to 9,200rpm, and compared to the unit that powers the 296 GTB, it has been completely overhauled. Parts from the 499P Le Mans car have been added to bump power to 900hp, making it the most powerful engine Maranello has produced. Ferrari claims the unit is no heavier than the 296’s engine.
Working in conjunction with the V6 engine are three electric motors: two on the front axle and one at the rear. In a first for Ferrari, these motors are made in-house. The motors at the front make 142hp each, while the rear motor takes the form of an ‘MGU-K’ energy recovery unit. The latter is similar in design to what’s seen in Ferrari’s F1 cars and can recover as much as 95hp when braking to automatically fill power gaps. Another first for the F80 is that it is the first Ferrari to feature ‘e-turbos’, which uses F1-derived tech to reduce lag and enhance throttle response.
Together, the hybrid system sends 1,200hp to all four wheels. The company claims 0-100kph and 0-200kph times of 2.15 seconds and 5.75 seconds, respectively, which makes the F80 quicker than the McLaren W1 and the Mercedes-AMG One.
Pricing
We know you can't just rock up and buy an F80 Ferrari, but if you could, it would set you back $3.1 million (plus the ten other Ferrari's you own to have the privilege to be allowed to buy one). Limited to 799 units worldwide.

2025 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale
Our Take: A million dollars and limited to 33 units. Alfa Romeo is back.
Overview
The 2025 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale supercar is not, however, designed to compete with the likes of Ferrari or Lamborghini in a game of top trumps, who has the fastest or who has the most powerful. No, the intention of the new 33 Stradale is much more in line with Alfa’s own history as both a manufacturer and coachbuilder. Limited to just 33 units, all of which have already been sold to specially selected and invited clients. In fact, the only thing that will be same between any of the 2025 33 Stradale units produced will the be shape.
There are two engines to choose from. There are two styles of interiors, one harkening back to the 60s called Tributo and one futuristic race concept called Alfa Corse. The car will have butterfly doors. Absolutely everything else about each 33 Stradale will be bespoke to each client. Talking about the two engine choices, the first is the 2.9L Twin-Turbo V6 that comes from the Giulia Quadrifoglio, although it has been tweaked and tuned to produce a monstrous 620 HP and 443 lbs-ft of torque, with the power transferred to the road via a ZF 8-speed transaxle, only powering the rear wheels. The other engine option is, well, not really an engine at all.
Pricing
The price of the 2025 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is expected to start around $1,000,000.

2025 Aston Martin Valkyrie
Our Take: Pushes the boundaries of what's possible in terms of performance and tech.
Overview
The 2025 Aston Martin Valkyrie transcends the realm of mere supercars, entering the exclusive domain of hypercars. This extraordinary machine is a testament to Aston Martin's relentless pursuit of performance and innovation, pushing the boundaries of automotive engineering and design.
At the heart of the Valkyrie beats a Cosworth-developed 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that screams to a stratospheric 11,100 rpm. This masterpiece of engineering produces a mind-boggling 1,160 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, making it one of the most powerful naturally aspirated engines ever fitted to a production car. The V12 is further augmented by a Rimac-developed hybrid system, boosting total output to an astonishing 1,176 horsepower. This power is channeled through a seven-speed automated manual transmission, propelling the Valkyrie from 0 to 60 mph in a scarcely believable 2.5 seconds and on to a top speed in excess of 250 mph.
The Valkyrie's performance is matched by its radical aerodynamics. The car's sculpted bodywork and massive rear diffuser generate an immense amount of downforce, enabling it to corner at speeds that defy physics. The interior is equally dramatic, with a minimalist design that prioritizes driver engagement.
Pricing
The price of the 2025 Aston Martin Valkyrie is "if you need to ask, you can't afford it" territory. Expected to pay $3.5M+ for the regular one and way more for the Spider or AMR Pro.
Valkyrie: Starting at $3.5 million
Valkyrie Spider: Starting at $4.0 million
Valkyrie AMR Pro: Starting at $4.0 million
Very few examples will be offered here, all of them in a single trim level loaded with one-of-a-kind touches.

2025 Bugatti Tourbillon
Our Take: First new design since the brand merged with electric car maker Rimac.
Overview
Under Mate Rimac's leadership, the new Bugatti was expected to employ a hybrid-electric-and-combustion powertrain with enough boost to blast the car to Mars. The Tourbillon features not the iconic W-16 that has been the heart and soul of Bugatti for some 20 years, but an all-new 8.3-liter V-16 mounted amidships combined with three electric motors totaling 1800 hp. While the new car clearly uses Bugatti's design language, there's plenty new here. Styling is subjective, but speed is not; the Tourbillon's projected numbers are extreme. The car's overall shape is strikingly unique—yet clearly Bugatti. The center spine draws from the Type 57 SC Atlantic of the 1930s, one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
Like the Chiron, the Tourbillon's power turns all four wheels, but it does so in an entirely reimagined way. The Tourbillon ditches the Chiron's quad-turbo 8.0-liter W-16 for an entirely new 8.3-liter V-16 with a cross-plane crank—the 16-cylinder equivalent of a flat-plane V-8—that spins up to 9000 rpm and is good for 986 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Cosworth helped develop the engine, which surprisingly eschews forced induction for natural aspiration. The Tourbillon's powertrain story extends beyond its high-revving internal-combustion engine. The V-16 gets a boost from a trio of electric motors: two at the front axle and another at the rear. In all, the three motors make 789 horsepower. Add the engine to the mix, and the Tourbillon powertrain packs a 1775-hp punch.
Pricing
How about $4.6 million for a piece of Bugatti's amazing engineering, design and technical brilliance. I may need to put mine on lay-away.
What They're Saying
With the Tourbillon, we wanted to create a hypercar that is not only incredibly fast and powerful, but also beautiful and elegant. It's a car that will redefine the boundaries of performance and design
We like to say that this project is standing on the shoulders of giants. - Bugatti director of design Frank Heyl
2025 Bugatti W16 Mistral
Our Take: Powerful, elegant and expensive swan song for the iconic W16 engine.
Overview
The W16 Mistral is not exactly what you would call a poor sendoff for an engine that started its life nearly two decades ago. The W16 Mistral will be the final car to carry the 8.0L quad-turbo behemoth, and has been engineered and designed to go faster than any roadster before, making it the world's first hyper-roadster.
Due to some ingenious aerodynamics, even when going at maximum velocity, the wind inside the cabin is expected to be minimal due to how the front of the car will create an "air skirt" over the cabin, which is also what will allow it to go well beyond the 200 MPH mark. No one really knows what the true top speed is yet, but computer simulations have all come back as 250+ mph! For a last hurrah, that's definitely not a bad speed at all!.
Pricing
The price of the 2024 Bugatti W16 Mistral; is starts at €5,000,000 ($5,379,750 USD). For that amount of money, you get... what are we doing here?...
There are only 99 and if you are reading this, you are probably not on the list to get one. The Mistral was sold out almost immediately so don't expect to walk into your local Bugatti dealer to find one.

2025 Ferrari Daytona SP3
Our Take: A stunning homage to Ferrari's golden age of sports prototypes
Overview
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 isn't just a car; it's a time machine. This limited-edition hypercar, part of Ferrari's exclusive Icona series, draws inspiration from the legendary sports prototypes of the 1960s, particularly the 330 P3/4, 312 P, and 412 P that dominated endurance racing. But don't let the retro cues fool you; the Daytona SP3 is packed with cutting-edge technology and boasts performance that's firmly rooted in the 21st century.
Its design is a masterful blend of classic and futuristic elements. The flowing lines and dramatic curves evoke the spirit of Ferrari's iconic racing machines, while the aerodynamically sculpted bodywork and active rear wing are a testament to modern engineering. The targa top, a nod to the sports prototypes of yore, can be removed to provide an open-air driving experience.
Under the hood lies a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, the most powerful combustion engine ever fitted to a Ferrari road car. It screams all the way to 9,500 rpm, producing a staggering 829 horsepower and 514 lb-ft of torque. This power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the Daytona SP3 to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 2.85 seconds and reach a top speed of over 211 mph.
Pricing
How about a starting price of $2.25 million to get the blood going. Getting into the Icona Ferrari's costs a pretty penny. Limited production run of just 599 units.
What They're Saying
"This car is a rolling sculpture, a masterpiece of automotive art that evokes the spirit of Ferrari's legendary racing machines." - Top Gear
The Daytona SP3 is a timeless masterpiece, a car that will be admired for generations to come. It's a pure expression of Ferrari's design philosophy, where form and function are perfectly integrated. - Flavio Manzoni
2025 Koenigsegg Jesko Attack/Absolut
Our Take: It is like a bullet, but on wheels.
Overview
Koenigsegg’s new Jesko hypercar is named after his father who helped him start his company. Production of the Jesko is limited to 125 units and unsurprisingly, they have all been sold to eager customers. The Koenigsegg Jesko boasts a slew of aerodynamic components including that gigantic wing, that will provide in excess of 3,000 pounds of downforce - needless to say, the Jesko should be an absolute beast on the racetrack. One of the Jesko’s party tricks is the 9-speed automatic that Koenigsegg calls the Light Speed Transmission. It is designed in such a way that allows the car to skip gears while shifting, allowing for instant throttle responses. For 2024, to differentiate it from the Absolut, the Jesko was renamed to be the Jesko Attack.
In 2020, Koenigsegg announced the Jesko Absolut. This Jesko variant is built for pure straight-line performance. Consequently, every surface element on the Jesko Absolut has been optimized to reduce drag or surrounding turbulence around the car while increasing high-speed stability. It is a more seamless and stealthier interpretation of the track-focused Jesko. For example, the Jesko Absolut lacks the big wing of its sibling and instead sports a pair of menacing-looking fins on the back. Both the Jesko (track-oriented version) and the Jesko Absolut (high-speed version) will be powered by a 1280 bhp (1600 bhp on E85), twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
Pricing
The Jesko starts at $2.8M and can still be ordered. Production is limited to just 125 units and will continue to be sold until this production run is met.
What They're Saying
I've driven a lot of fast cars, but the Jesko Attack is on another level. The grip is mind-bending. - Markus Lundh, Koenigsegg Test Driver
[The Jesko Attack] looks like it could generate enough downforce to rival a Formula One car. - The Drive
2025 Koenigsegg Gemera
Our Take: It's the ultimate school run hypercar
Overview
The Koenigsegg Gemera is a hypercar that shatters the mold, redefining what's possible in the realm of high-performance automobiles. It's not just about raw speed and breathtaking acceleration; the Gemera introduces a new concept that Koenigsegg aptly calls the "Mega-GT." This innovative approach seamlessly blends the heart-pounding performance of a hypercar with the practicality and comfort of a grand tourer, creating a truly unique and versatile machine.
At the heart of this revolutionary car lies a powertrain that defies convention. Instead of a massive, multi-cylinder engine, the Gemera utilizes a compact 2.0-liter, 3-cylinder engine affectionately nicknamed the "Tiny Friendly Giant." But don't let its diminutive size fool you; this technological marvel employs FreeValve technology, eliminating traditional camshafts for unparalleled control over valve timing, and twin-turbochargers to generate a remarkable 600 horsepower. This innovative engine is then paired with three electric motors, one on the crankshaft and one on each rear wheel, creating a hybrid system that unleashes a mind-boggling 1,700 horsepower and 3,500 Nm of torque.
Pricing
We've been waiting a few years for the Gemera production to start and we believe 2025 is the year we will see the cars start to be delivered. Prices starts at $2.8M and production is limited to just 300 units.
What They're Saying
The Gemera is unlike anything else on the market. It's a true game-changer. - Top Gear
With 1700 horsepower, it'll embarrass most supercars, yet has four adult-sized seats and space for luggage. - EVO Magazine
2025 Koenigsegg CC850
Our Take: Homage with modern tech and performance
Overview
It's a tribute to the CC8S, the very first production car that launched Koenigsegg into the automotive stratosphere two decades prior. But while it draws inspiration from the past, the CC850 is a thoroughly modern marvel, pushing the boundaries of performance and innovation in ways that would have been unimaginable in 2002.
At the heart of the CC850 beats a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, a masterpiece of engineering derived from the Jesko, Koenigsegg's record-breaking hypercar. This powerhouse delivers a staggering 1,385 horsepower and 1,022 lb-ft of torque when running on E85 fuel, making it one of the most potent internal combustion engines ever fitted to a road car. But what truly sets the CC850 apart is its revolutionary transmission, the Engage Shift System (ESS). This ingenious system seamlessly blends the visceral engagement of a manual gearbox with the lightning-fast precision of an automatic. With a gated shifter and a clutch pedal, drivers can experience the thrill of rowing their own gears, while still enjoying the benefits of a nine-speed automatic when desired.
The CC850's performance is nothing short of breathtaking. It boasts a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, weighing just 1,385 kg and producing an equal amount of horsepower. But the CC850 isn't just about straight-line speed; its advanced aerodynamics and chassis technology deliver exceptional handling and agility, making it a true driver's car.
Pricing
The Koenigsegg CC850 began production at the very tail end of 2023, with deliveries beginning mid-2024 and continuing until the 50 unit production goal is met. Pricing start at a whopping $3.65M.
What They're Saying
The Engage Shift System is a game-changer. It's the most advanced manual transmission ever made. - EVO Magazine
With only 50 being built, the CC850 is instantly collectible... a true unicorn. - The Drive

2025 Pagani Utopia Coupe/Roadster
Our Take: Most powerful Pagani road car yet ... paired to a seven-speed manual gearbox.
Overview
The Pagani Utopia is the successor to the inimitable Huayra and all its variants. It is what Horatio Pagani himself has dubbed as the opening of "Pagani, Act II," a hypercar that takes all the lessons learned over 30+ years of the company and brings forth a new style and new way of making the ultra-rare vehicles.
It took 10,000 drawings, 12 scale models, and 8 pre-production prototypes doing over two years of engine testing and aerodynamic development alone to bring it to life over the course of 6 years. It is a symphony of lightweight components, with the massive V12 engine weighing in at only 262 kg (578 lbs) wet, the total car weighing just 1,280 kg (2,822 lbs) wet. All 99 production unites were invite-only orders, and were spoken for within a month of the invites going out.
The Pagani Utopia Roadster takes the exquisite beauty and performance of the Utopia coupe and adds the thrill of open-air driving. Like its coupe sibling, the roadster is a masterpiece of automotive artistry, with a carbon fiber body that's both lightweight and incredibly strong. Best New Hypercar
Our Favorite Hypercar On Sale Today
1st: Ferrari F80
Packing 1,200 Horsepower From A Twin-Turbo Hybrid V6
Why Is This The Best New Hypercar?
The competition is stiff for the best hypercar on sale today, but when push comes to shove, there is one company that always gets it right where it matters and that is Ferrari. While the details are sparse and nobody has driven one yet, we expect this is going to be the hypercar to buy in 2025.
Where the 288 GTO and F40 were fitted with a V8 engine, the F50 with a V12 and the LaFerrari with a V12 hybrid powerplant, the new F80 hides a 120° V6 engine underneath that beautiful aerodynamic bodywork, but make no mistake, this 3-Liter beauty puts down 900 hp, making it the Ferrari engine with the highest specific power of all time (300 cv/l), and that’s not even all of it, remember we’re in the hybrid era these days, so there is an electric front axle and a rear motor adding another 300 hp into the mix for a total of 1,200 hp … in a road-legal, limited edition Ferrari.
For the first time, Ferrari has developed, tested, and built electric motors for the Ferrari F80 in-house. Two electric motors are on the front axle, one for each wheel, to create a 4WD setup, and an additional electric motor is mounted at the rear of the car. These electric motors use solutions derived from the design of the MGU-K unit used in Formula 1, thanks to some amazing engineering, the entire electric motor setup on the front axle only weighs 61,5 kg, while the inverter from the high-voltage battery is capable of delivering 210 kW of power to the front units, while the rear electric motor can receive up to 60 kW of power to assist the internal combustion engine or generate up to 70 kW to feed the high-voltage battery in regeneration mode.
The Ferrari F80 will be made in a strictly limited production run of just 799 units, if you are interested in some figures, the maximum speed is listed at 350 km/h with acceleration numbers of 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.15 seconds, 200 km/h is reached in a mere 5.75 seconds from a standstill, very impressive for a car with an overall weight of 1,525 kg … the press release doesn’t mention an MSRP, but rumor has it you’ll be looking at an invoice of $3,900,000 to add one of these supercars to your garage, but you probably won’t be able to walk into your local Ferrari dealership and sign an order form, these limited edition Ferrari are available ‘on invitation’ only, sorry.
