Sauber
Sauber Motorsport, originally founded by Swiss entrepreneur Peter Sauber in the 1970s, has been a prominent fixture in motorsport for decades. The team made its Formula One debut in 1993, and over the years, it has showcased a commitment to precision engineering, innovation, and racing excellence. Sauber’s enduring presence in Formula One has been marked by numerous podium finishes and memorable performances, despite operating on a smaller budget compared to some of its larger competitors. In 2005, BMW acquired a majority stake in the team, leading to a rebranding as BMW Sauber. However, Peter Sauber regained control in 2010, renaming the team once again as Sauber F1 Team. Throughout its history, Sauber has provided a platform for talented drivers and engineers, nurturing their skills and contributing to the development of Formula One technology. Today, under the name Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN, the team continues to compete at the highest level, embodying the spirit of Swiss precision and racing excellence that has defined Sauber Motorsport for decades.
