With origins that traces from 120 years ago, Renault is one of the largest automakers in the world by production volume. The company is currently part of the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance, making it the world’s largest seller of light vehicles. Renault has produced a great number of vehicles since its inception in 1899. Their products include automobiles, concept cars, electric cars, vans, trucks, tractors, tanks, buses, coaches, autorail vehicles, and aircraft engines. The company is also heavily invested in the motorsport industry under Renault Sport and currently backs the Formula Renault, an entry-level formula racing series.
