Eunos
Eunos was a sub-brand of Mazda, established in 1989 to offer a range of premium, stylish, and sporty vehicles aimed at the Japanese domestic market. The Eunos line was intended to embody a more luxurious and performance-oriented ethos compared to Mazda’s mainstream offerings. Notable models included the Eunos Roadster, known internationally as the Mazda MX-5 Miata, which became an iconic sports car celebrated for its lightweight design and driving dynamics. Another significant model was the Eunos Cosmo, a technologically advanced grand tourer featuring a pioneering three-rotor rotary engine and an array of high-end features. Despite its innovative approach and high-quality vehicles, the Eunos brand was eventually integrated back into the Mazda lineup in the mid-1990s, but its legacy lives on through the continued popularity and influence of its models.
