Courage
Courage Compétition was a French racing team and constructor founded by Yves Courage in 1981. Specializing in sports prototypes, Courage became renowned for its participation in endurance racing, particularly the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The company developed a series of competitive cars, such as the Courage C30 and C60, which were known for their engineering excellence and reliability. Courage cars often competed against major manufacturers, securing numerous respectable finishes and earning a reputation for their durability and performance. The team also collaborated with various engine suppliers, including Porsche, Judd, and Nissan, to enhance their competitiveness. Although Courage Compétition was acquired by Oreca in 2007, the legacy of Courage race cars continues to be celebrated in the world of endurance racing.
