Corbin was an American automobile manufacturer that operated in the early 1900s, known for producing luxury vehicles with advanced engineering for its time. Founded by the Corbin Motor Vehicle Corporation in New Britain, Connecticut, the company began producing cars around 1904. Corbin cars were distinguished by their high-quality craftsmanship, innovative features, and reliability. They often incorporated technological advancements such as four-cylinder engines and early forms of automatic transmissions. Despite their quality and innovation, Corbin cars faced stiff competition from other burgeoning automakers and ceased production in 1912.
