Bugatti
Founded in 1909, Bugatti started out as a French car manufacturer of high-performance automobiles. Bugatti cars were known for their design beauty and for focusing on the very high end of the market. Famous Bugattis include the Type 35 Grand Prix cars, the Type 41 “Royale”, the Type 57 “Atlantic” and the Type 55 sports car. Volkswagen AG acquired the Bugatti brand in 1998 and began building the Bugatti Veyron, 1001 BHP supercar with an 8-litre W-16 engine with four turbochargers and a top speed of over 250 mph.
