Arash
Arash Motor Company is a British car manufacturer founded by Arash Farboud in 1999. Based in Newmarket, Suffolk, the company is known for producing high-performance, exotic sports cars that combine cutting-edge technology with striking design. Arash’s vision was to create exclusive supercars that could compete with the best in the world, emphasizing bespoke craftsmanship and advanced engineering. The brand’s first notable model was the Farboud GT, introduced in the early 2000s. This car featured a mid-mounted V6 engine and a lightweight composite body, showcasing Arash’s commitment to performance and innovation. Although the Farboud GT did not enter mass production, it laid the groundwork for future models by establishing the company’s design and engineering principles. Arash’s most significant achievement came with the introduction of the Arash AF10 in 2008. The AF10 was designed to be a no-compromise supercar, featuring a carbon-fiber chassis, advanced aerodynamics, and a powerful V8 engine producing over 550 horsepower. The car’s distinctive design and impressive performance capabilities garnered attention from automotive enthusiasts and the press alike. In 2016, Arash introduced an updated version of the AF10, which included a hybrid powertrain with a total output of 2,080 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful production cars in the world. Another notable model from Arash is the AF8, a more accessible supercar introduced in 2014. The AF8 featured a naturally aspirated V8 engine, producing 550 horsepower, and a lightweight aluminum and carbon-fiber construction. This model was designed to offer an exhilarating driving experience while maintaining everyday usability, highlighting Arash’s versatility in supercar manufacturing.
