The Essenza SCV12 is a supercar highly valued by wealthy amateur racers, dedicated track enthusiasts, and collectors. The initials “SC” in its name stand for “Squadra Corsa,” Lamborghini’s motorsport division, while “Essenza” means “Essence.” Like the Huracán Super Trofeo Evo race cars, the Essenza SCV12 is strictly for the track and isn’t road-legal.

Introduced in 2020, it comes equipped with a ram-air induction system, custom exhaust tips to minimize back pressure, an Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox, an FIA-certified carbon-composite crash structure, and advanced aerodynamics that generate over 1,200 kg of downforce at 155 mph.

The car’s aerodynamic design, inspired by the Huracán race car, incorporates dual inlets and a central rib on the bonnet to channel airflow into the ram-air roof scoop, increasing air pressure in the intake manifold and boosting airflow as speed rises.

Powered by a naturally aspirated V12, the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 delivers an impressive 830 horsepower. Unlike the Lamborghini Sian, it relies exclusively on its V12’s raw power, without the addition of a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.
