The Aston Martin Valkyrie, already one of the most exceptional modern hypercars, found its even more extreme counterpart in the Valkyrie AMR Pro. This track-only variant pushes the boundaries with a massive rear wing and an aggressive aero package. Based on the Valkyrie road car chassis, the AMR Pro boasts a lengthened wheelbase by 380 millimeters, increased width by 96 millimeters in the front, and 115 millimeters in the rear.
Notably, the Valkyrie AMR Pro departs from the hybrid powertrain of its predecessor, opting for a purely naturally aspirated unit. The high-revving Cosworth 6.5-litre V12, derived from the Valkyrie road car was tweaked to unleash an impressive 1,160 hp. Power is seamlessly transmitted to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Aston Martin’s claim of the Valkyrie AMR Pro generating more downforce than its own weight and achieving over 3G of lateral acceleration underscores its track-focused prowess. As it roars onto the track, this hypercar promises a visceral experience akin to a top-tier hardcore race car, setting new standards for automotive performance.
