The Aventador, was unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, replacing the aging Murciélago as the flagship model of the Sant’Agata factory. Designed by Filippo Perini, this mid-engine coupé took significant inspiration from the limited edition Reventón and the Estoque concept car, featuring the distinctive scissor doors—a hallmark of modern supercars.

The original Aventador saw many upgraded versions and special editions over time. Among these, the Aventador SVJ LP 770-4 stands out as one of the most exotic and sought-after. Launched at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, it is a track-focused evolution of the Aventador S and SV.

Its revised 6.5-liter V12 engine delivers 770bhp at 8,500rpm and 531lb/ft of torque at 6,750rpm. The car’s weight was reduced to 1,525kg (3,362lb) through extensive use of carbon fiber and a titanium exhaust system. Lamborghini claims it can accelerate from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 2.8 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 352km/h (219mph).

The SVJ is also notable for being the first production Lamborghini V12 to feature the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system, which, in conjunction with the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Attiva 2.0 (LDVA 2.0) management system, uses sensors to adjust the car’s aerodynamics in just 500 milliseconds.
