In 2017, Lamborghini commemorated the 100th birthday of its founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, by unveiling the LP 770-4 Centenario. This model joins the ranks of previous limited editions like the Reventón, Sesto Elemento, and the stunning Veneno. Each special edition builds upon Lamborghini’s highest performing models, and the Centenario takes the Aventador to unprecedented heights of style and performance.
Constructed entirely from carbon fiber, every piece of the Centenario is designed with aerodynamics in mind, enhancing its dramatic presence. The Aventador’s V12 engine has been upgraded to deliver an astounding 770 horsepower, making the Centenario one of the most powerful Lamborghinis to date. This power, combined with advanced aerodynamics, enables the Centenario to accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in a mere 2.8 seconds.
To ensure superior handling, the Centenario is equipped with a new rear-wheel-steering system that enhances maneuverability and stability. This system adapts in real-time to the selected driving mode—Strada, Sport, or Corsa—offering a tailored driving experience. Lamborghini produced only 20 coupes and 20 roadsters of the Centenario, all of which were quickly sold out upon release.
