The Koenigsegg Regera is a limited-production, hybrid sports car manufactured by the Swedish car company Koenigsegg. It was introduced in 2015 and debuted at the year’s Geneva Motor Show. The Regera is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine paired with three electric motors, producing a total output of 1,489 hp horsepower and over 1,475 lb-ft of torque.
The car is designed for high performance, with a top speed of over 250 mph and the ability to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 2.8 seconds. The Regera is also known for its advanced hybrid powertrain and innovative design features, including a unique direct drive system that eliminates the need for a traditional gearbox. Only 80 units of the Regera were produced, making it a limited edition and highly exclusive car.
