The limited-edition Scuderia Spider 16M, with only 499 units produced, was created to commemorate Ferrari’s 16 Formula One constructors’ championships and is based on the Ferrari Scuderia coupe.
The 16M shares the Scuderia coupe’s bodykit, aerodynamics, suspension, interior, and electronics. It weighs approximately 3300 pounds, which is around 200 pounds less than the F430 Spider and slightly more than the 430 Scuderia.
Equipped with Ferrari’s latest technology, the 16M’s 4.3L DOHC 32-valve V8 engine, featuring multi-port electronic fuel injection and variable valve timing, produces 510 HP. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 198 MPH, achieving lap times on Ferrari’s Fiorano test track comparable to the iconic Enzo.
