Dunsmore raced Formula Vees and Formula Fords throughout the ’70s before turning his focus towards motorsport photography. In the coming decades, Dunsmore built a business around photographing historic race meetings, resulting in him becoming the official photographer for such prestigious events as the Monterey Historics, the California Mille and the Colorado Grand.
