The 9th annual Milwaukee Masterpiece took place Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25 at Milwaukee’s Veterans Park. It was a beautiful weekend with more than 4,000 people attending the two-day event.
A record-setting 350 vehicles were displayed on Club Saturday at The M. The parade of select Club Saturday automobiles and motorcycles traveling from the Harley-Davidson Museum and ending on the show field was a real crowd pleaser in its inaugural year. The Professional Car Society held its national meet at this year’s Club Saturday at The M. More than 82 professional cars—limos, hearses, police cars and ambulances—were on display. Daniel T. Skivolocke of Alliance, Ohio, took Best of Show with his 1959 S&S Cadillac Victoria 3-way Electric Table Hearse.
Sunday’s Concours d’Elegance showcased the innovation of Handcrafted Cars and celebrated the following anniversaries: 50th year of Ferrari Club of America, 50th year of Porsche 911, 60th year of Corvette, 100th year of Aston Martin and the 110th year of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. With more than 185 magnificent vehicles on the field, it was difficult to choose just one for Best of Show, but Jim Patterson of Louisville, Kentucky, won with his 1933 Delage D8S Roadster by deVillars (pictured above).
