Noble Automotive
Noble is a low-volume British sports car manufacturer established in 1999 by Lee Noble. The company produces high-performance sports car with a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout. Since its inception, the company has produced seven models so far which includes Noble M10 (1999–2000), Noble M12 (2000–2008), Noble M400, Noble M14, Noble M15, Noble M600, and the Noble M500 which they recently unveiled at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Lee Noble wasn designing sports cars, super sports, and supercars since 1983, when he designed the Ultima Mk1. Having worked extensively with supercar manufacturer Ascari, designing for them (most notably, the Ascari FGT, in 1996), Noble left Ascari to form his own company, because his design ethos began to differ markedly with the other designers at Ascari. His vision was to produce a cheaper, simpler vehicle. To build a relatively affordable supercar that focused on two things: exceptional engineering, and light weight.
We loved the Noble cars built but unfortunately the company has had fits and starts and it is unclear what future (if any) it still has. Too bad, because they built some cracking cars.

The current crop of Noble Automotive cars is the M500 and M600. The M500 is basically a less “extreme” Noble. It still retains the Noble ethos of a driver focused experience, great handling, steering and grip but without perhaps, such a visceral driving experience. The M500 has a Ford 3.5L twin turbo engine with a DSG gearbox. The Noble M600 is a car produced not in competition to the current super car establishment, but one, we believe, that offers those serious about their driving, an alternative philosophy and a more rewarding driving experience. Super light and with incredible power, the M600 boasts an impressive power to weight ratio of 542bhp per tonne. Yikes.
