Bugatti set out to make a modern interpretation of the EB110, built on the Chiron platform. Whilst the original EB110 featured a V12 engine, the Centodieci uses the quad turbo 8.0L W16 found in the Chiron.

The Bugatti Centodieci, unveiled in August 2019 at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, is an ultra-exclusive hypercar that pays homage to the Bugatti EB110 and celebrates 110 years of Bugatti's rich heritage. The name "Centodieci" translates to "One Hundred Ten" in Italian, directly referencing the brand's milestone anniversary. This model is part of Bugatti's continued tradition of producing highly bespoke, limited-edition cars that blend extraordinary performance with unique design cues.
The design of the Centodieci draws heavy inspiration from the EB110, Bugatti's legendary supercar from the early 1990s. While the Centodieci is based on the Chiron, it features distinct styling elements that echo the EB110, including the smaller horseshoe grille, the wedge-shaped body, and the five circular air intakes on the side that pay direct homage to the EB110's design language. The Centodieci also features a fixed rear wing, which differs from the active rear spoiler found on the Chiron, further distinguishing its appearance and nodding to the EB110 SS's fixed wing.
Underneath its bespoke exterior, the Centodieci is powered by Bugatti's iconic 8.0-liter W16 engine, but it has been tuned to produce an even more staggering 1,600 horsepower (about 100 horsepower more than the standard Chiron).
