Current Acura SUV Lineup
Prices, Reviews & Rankings
In the SUV segment, the Acura MDX and RDX reign as key players. The MDX, a mid-size luxury SUV, offers ample space, refined comfort, and advanced technology, making it ideal for families and those requiring more room without compromising on luxury. The RDX, a compact luxury SUV, delivers a sportier and more dynamic experience, perfect for urban driving and those seeking a combination of agility, luxury, and functionality.
2025 Acura MDX
Our Take: A recent redesign was a big upgrade, but falls short against the best.
Overview
The 2025 Acura MDX is a luxury mid-size SUV that offers a compelling blend of performance, comfort, and technology. It boasts a sleek and modern exterior design, with updated styling for 2025 that includes a revised grille, darkened headlights and taillights, and new wheel designs. Inside, the MDX provides a spacious and refined cabin with seating for up to seven passengers. Acura has focused on enhancing the technology offerings for 2025, most notably by replacing the controversial touchpad interface with a more user-friendly touchscreen. This large 12.3-inch display controls the infotainment system, which includes standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Under the hood, the 2025 MDX carries over its powertrain options. Most models are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 290 horsepower, paired with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission. For those seeking more thrills, the MDX Type S packs a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that generates 355 horsepower. All MDX models come standard with front-wheel drive, while Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system is available for enhanced traction and handling. The MDX also prioritizes safety, with the AcuraWatch suite of advanced driver-assistance systems coming standard. This includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking.
Pricing & Our Pick
The price of the 2025 Acura MDX starts at $51,500 and goes up to $74,695 depending on the trim and options.
Base: Starting at $51,500
Technology: Starting at $55,745
A-Spec: Starting at $61,445
Advance: Starting at $64,995
Type S: Starting at $69,345
Type S Advance: Starting at $74,695
The Type S is the best enthusiast MDX. Enough punch that it is worth the extra money. The Type S Advance looks good on paper but too expensive.
What's New for 2025?
Acura has made no changes to the MDX for the 2025 model year. The only change was in 2023 was the addition of a two-year/24,000-mile complimentary scheduled maintenance plan and free access to the AcuraLink connectivity plan for three years. Acura redesigned the MDX for 2022, skipping the 2021 model year.
Where Does It Rank?
The competition is fierce and the MDX is great when in isolation, but against Genesis, Porsche and BMW, it just doesn't live up the expectations.
Genesis GV80: Starts at $59,000
Porsche Cayenne: Starts at $80,850
BMW X5: Starts at $66,195
Acura MDX: Starts at $51,500
2025 Acura RDX
Our Take: Looks great and solid overall package competing in a tough segment.
Overview
The 2025 Acura RDX is a premium compact SUV that delivers a compelling blend of sportiness, refinement, and technology. Acura has given the RDX a refresh for the 2025 model year, with updates focusing on design, technology, and interior comfort. On the outside, you'll notice a revised front grille with a "frameless" diamond pentagon design and a more aggressive mesh pattern. The headlights have been darkened, and new wheel designs are available, including striking 20-inch Berlina Black machine-finished wheels for the A-Spec with Advance Package. Three new exterior colors are also offered: Solar Silver Metallic, Canyon River Blue Metallic, and Urban Gray Pearl.
Inside, the 2025 RDX features a redesigned center console with improved storage, larger cupholders, and easier access to the wireless smartphone charger. The standard 10.2-inch HD center display now incorporates a new wide-screen mode for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Acura has also listened to customer feedback and replaced the previous touchpad interface with a more intuitive touchscreen system. Under the hood, the RDX continues to be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system is available for enhanced performance and all-weather capability.
The 2025 Acura RDX aims to provide a balance of luxury and performance in a compact SUV package. With its refreshed styling, updated technology, and engaging driving dynamics, it's a strong contender in its segment.
Pricing & Our Pick
The price of the 2025 Acura RDX starts at $45,700 and goes up to $53,045 depending on the trim and options. The RDX is basically one trim, but you can choose packages on top as listed below.
Base: Starting at $45,700
Technology: Starting at $47,895
A-Spec: Starting at $50,895
Advance: Starting at $53,045
Our pick would be the Technology spec, the better audio and nav as well as nicer seats being well worth the price of admission. The base model is a solid buy for those looking for a decent list of options and nice quality.
What's New for 2025?
For 2025, the only notable change to the RDX lineup is that all models now have all-wheel drive (for 2023 front-wheel drive was the default). For 2023, Acura made no changes, while for 2022 the RDX got a light facelift. The changes included a new grille with cool-looking larger air intakes and a new rear bumper with rectangular exhaust tips.
Where Does It Rank?
The MDX sits in the Compact Luxury SUV segment. Unfortunately, the competition is fierce and the RDX gets beaten by amazing competition from Porsche, BMW, Genesis and Volvo.
Porsche Macan: Starts at $62,550
Mercedes GLC: Starts at $48,600
Genesis GV70: Starts at $46,500
Volvo XC60: Starts at $48,195
BMW X3: Starts at $47,895
Acura RDX: Starts at $45,700
Current Acura Electric Vehicle Lineup
Prices, Reviews & Rankings
Acura has been slow to get into the electric market and 2025 is the year we will see their first offering. The ZDX nameplate is back, this time as a midsized luxury SUV. It is too soon to see how many more electric cars and SUVs we will see from Acura.
2025 Acura ZDX
Our Take: Excited to get our hands on this upmarket electric SUV
Overview
The 2025 Acura ZDX marks a significant milestone for the brand, as it's their first-ever all-electric vehicle. This stylish SUV aims to deliver a luxurious and performance-oriented driving experience while embracing the future of electrification. The ZDX showcases a sleek and aerodynamic design, with sharp lines and a coupe-like roofline. Acura offers it in two distinct versions: the A-Spec and the Type S. The A-Spec focuses on sporty styling and sophisticated technology, while the Type S dials up the performance with a more powerful powertrain and track-tuned suspension.
Speaking of powertrain, the ZDX offers a choice between single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. The base A-Spec with rear-wheel drive boasts 340 horsepower, while the dual-motor A-Spec bumps that up to 500 horsepower. The range-topping Type S also utilizes a dual-motor setup and delivers an impressive 500 horsepower, making it the most powerful Acura SUV ever. All ZDX models are equipped with a 102-kWh battery pack, providing an estimated range of up to 325 miles for the single-motor A-Spec and around 288 miles for the dual-motor versions. To further enhance the driving experience, the ZDX Type S features an adaptive air suspension system and Brembo brakes.
Inside the cabin, the ZDX boasts a premium and tech-focused environment. Acura has integrated Google built-in for seamless connectivity, offering features like Google Assistant, Google Maps, and access to various apps through the Google Play store. A Bang & Olufsen premium audio system is also available for an immersive sound experience.
Pricing
The price of the 2025 Acura ZDX is expected to start around $66,000 and go up to $75,000 depending on the trim and options.
A-Spec RWD: Starting at ~ $65,000
A-Spec AWD: Starting at ~$70,000
Type S: Starting at ~ $75,000
It is still too early to tell which model will be the one to buy, but stay tuned.
Our guess is that Type S will be the hot seller, especially with a lot of competition still charging well into the $80k range for their luxury electric SUVs.
What's New for 2025?
Everything. The ZDX is back in name but it is a totally different package, now an electric SUV.
Where Does It Rank?
Too early to tell. The competition is tough, with this segment including the likes of Genesis, Porsche and BMW. The good news is that the Acura is very attractively priced compared to the competition.
Porsche Macan EV: Starts at $77,295
BMW iX: Starts at $88,425
Genesis GV70 Elec: Starts at $66,950
Volvo EX60: Starts at $81,290

Prices, Reviews & Rankings
At the forefront of the sedan lineup, the Acura TLX stands out as a premium sports sedan, offering a dynamic driving experience coupled with sophisticated design and cutting-edge technology. The revived Acura Integra is getting rave reviews, especially the exciting new Integra Type S variant.
2025 Acura TLX
Our Take: Love the design and driving dynamics, especially the S.
Overview
The 2025 Acura TLX continues to be a strong contender in the luxury sport sedan segment, offering a compelling blend of performance, technology, and refinement. For 2025, Acura has made minimal changes to the TLX, focusing on refining an already solid formula. The exterior design remains sleek and modern, with sharp lines and a sporty stance. Available in three trims – Technology, A-Spec, and Type S – the TLX offers a range of styling options to suit different tastes. The A-Spec, for instance, adds a more aggressive look with dark exterior accents, larger wheels, and a rear spoiler.
Under the hood, the TLX offers two potent engine choices. The standard engine for the Technology and A-Spec trims is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that delivers 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a smooth and responsive 10-speed automatic transmission. For those seeking even more thrills, the TLX Type S boasts a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that pumps out an impressive 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The Type S also benefits from Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system for enhanced traction and handling, while the Technology and A-Spec trims offer it as an option.
Inside the cabin, the TLX provides a comfortable and refined environment with a focus on driver engagement. The interior features high-quality materials and a well-thought-out design. A 10.2-inch infotainment display sits atop the center stack, offering intuitive controls for various functions including navigation, audio, and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Pricing & Our Pick
The price of the 2025 Acura TLX starts at $46,195 and goes up to $58,195 depending on the trim and options.
Technology: $46,195
A-Spec: $51,195
Type S: Starting at $58,195
The 355-hp Type S is easily our favorite, with the most performance and nice luxuries included. Apart from the engine it also gets adaptive dampers, leather upholstery, and a nicer audio system. Add Performance package to get the 20-inch wheels that look awesome. The base model is great value at under $50k in what is a very competitive segment.
What's New for 2025?
Acura gave the TLX a mid-cycle refresh for 2024, which largely carries over to 2025. A redesigned front bumper is maybe its most obvious change, but on paper, the TLX's starting price grows higher too as Acura has squashed its entry-level Base trim. The rest of the lineup gets a new gauge cluster and infotainment screen, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Where Does It Rank?
The Acura TLX isn't as sporty or luxurious as the BMW, Audi and Mercedes competition. Just sneaks into top ten.
BMW 3-series: Starts at $45,495
Mercedes C-Class: Starts at $48,100
Audi A5 Sportback: Starts at $46,595
Genesis G70: Starts at $42,750
BMW 4 Gran Coupe: Starts at $49,295
Acura TLX: Starts at $46,195
2025 Acura Integra
Our Take: Welcome back. Fun-to-drive, engaging and looks great.
Overview
When Acura revived the Integra in 2022, it made it available as a five-door hatchback, not as a coupe like its previous two generations. While hard-core Acura fans remembered that once the Integra was produced either as a five-door liftback, a coupe, and a hard-top coupe, the fifth generation of this nameplate was introduced as a hatchback-only affair, and it was based on the same platform as the eleventh generation of the Honda Civic.
The 2025 Acura Integra represents a modern revival of a legendary nameplate, aiming to capture the spirit of its predecessors while offering contemporary styling, technology, and performance. This premium sport compact car comes in a sleek four-door liftback design, providing a practical edge over traditional coupes. Acura offers the Integra in a variety of trims, including a base model, A-Spec, A-Spec with Technology Package, and the performance-focused Type S. Each trim level caters to different needs and preferences, with the Type S standing out as the most potent and track-ready option.
Under the hood, the Integra offers two distinct engine choices. The base model and A-Spec trims are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces a respectable 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for smooth and efficient performance, although a six-speed manual transmission is available as an option for the A-Spec with Technology Package. Enthusiasts will gravitate towards the Type S, which boasts a more powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine generating an impressive 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This engine is exclusively mated to a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission, enhancing the driving experience with precise and engaging shifts.
Pricing & Our Pick
The price of the 2025 Acura Integra starts at $32,995 and goes up to $37,695 depending on the trim and options.
Base: Starting at $32,995
A-Spec: Starting at $34,695
A-Spec Technology: Starting at $37,695
Scroll down the page and just buy the Integra Type S if you can afford it. For those not in that price-range, then the A-Spec Technology variant is the next best option in the Integra lineup. The A-Spec model gives you the option to get a manual and gets some nicer rims and bodykit.
The Technology package adds adaptive suspension and a better stereo, both are great and worth the extra money.
What's New for 2025?
Acura has made no signification changes to the 2025 Integra for its second year on the market. The Acura Integra was totally new for 2023 model year so this isn't totally unexpected. Note that Acura launched the Type S for 2025, but we have covered that below separately.
Where Does It Rank?
The Integra competes in the Subcompact Luxury Car segment. The base Integra is a top five car in this segment, beating out the Audi A3 and almost beating the 2-Series.
Acura Integra: Starts at $52,999
BMW M2: Starts at $64,195
Audi S3: Starts at $48,095
BMW 2-series: Starts at $39,795

2025 Acura Integra Type S
Our Take: Potent performance, on-point handling, and sharp styling.
Overview
The 2025 Acura Integra Type S is not just a sportier trim level; it's a full-fledged performance machine designed to thrill driving enthusiasts. Building upon the already engaging Integra platform, the Type S dials everything up to eleven with a high-output engine, track-tuned chassis, and aggressive styling. It's a car that proudly wears the Type S badge, signifying Acura's commitment to delivering exhilarating performance.
At the heart of the Integra Type S lies a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that unleashes a potent 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This engine is exclusively paired with a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission, allowing drivers to fully engage with the car and extract its maximum performance potential. The Type S also benefits from a limited-slip differential, which helps put the power down effectively and enhances cornering grip. High-performance Brembo brakes provide confident stopping power, ensuring the Type S can handle its newfound capabilities.

Acura has given it a more aggressive appearance with a unique front fascia, a larger rear spoiler, a center-exit triple exhaust system, and wider fenders to accommodate the wider track and larger wheels. With its combination of potent performance, sharp handling, and aggressive styling, the 2025 Acura Integra Type S is a true driver's car that lives up to the legacy of its predecessors
Pricing & Our Pick
The price of the 2025 Acura Integra Type S starts at $52,999. It is only available in one trim for now with a few options you can add on.
Integra Type S: $52,999
The Integra Type S is a hefty $7000 more expensive than the Honda Civic Type R and it is worth every penny. It is a more grown up car, with better luxury, better audio and a more refined experience overall.
The Type S a better car than the rest of the Integra options. Sharp handling, powerful engine, and luxurious interior, but noted that it could benefit from a more distinct identity from its Honda Civic Type R cousin, and a quieter ride.
What's New for 2025?
After its debut in 2024, the Integra Type S returns unchanged for 2025. That isn't. a bad thing as it is still super competitive, well priced and has lots of great things going for it.
Where Does It Rank?
The Integra Type S competes in the Subcompact Luxury Car segment and it so good it tops the list according to our experts. Better than a BMW M2? Absolutely.

Audi S3: Starts at $48,095
BMW 2-series: Starts at $39,795
