Automotive Art – Adrian Bradbury’s “Alfa Romeo 8C2900B”

Alfa Romeo 8C2900B Artwork

Adrian Bradbury pays artistic tribute to Alfa Romeo’s spectacular Le Mans champion.

Five of these cars were built for racing in 1938—one uniquely for Le Mans—essentially derived from a road-going version of Alfa’s Grand Prix cars. They had very slippery bodies created by Touring of Milan, and featured independent suspension all around, as well as a rear frame that allowed the use of a quick-lift jack.
