Automotive Art – Gabriele Guidetti’s “Abarth 1000 TC”

Abarth 1000 TC Artwork

Artist Gabriele Guidetti sketches an image of Carlo Abarth’s tiny little “Giant Killer” the Abarth 1000 TC.

Italian aftermarket tuning wizard Carlo Abarth turned his attention to the diminutive Fiat 600 sedan, in the 1960s and progressively transformed it into a Giant Killer in European Touring Car racing. By increasing the tiny 600-cc Fiat engine to ultimately 1000-cc, Abarth created the  1000TC (Turismo Competizione), which notched up numerous championships in Group 2 racing.
