The 2019 Porsche 935, a homage to the classic 935 race car, is a rare find with only 77 units produced. It’s not every day that this modern 935 goes up for sale but there’s currently one available on Bring A Trailer which brings an exciting opportunity for deep-pocketed individuals to acquire such a low mileage example of Porsche’s track racer.
The Porsche 935, inspired by its historic predecessor, the 935/78, seamlessly blends an aggressive exterior with cutting-edge technology. Based on the 991.2-generation 911 GT2 RS Clubsport, extensive carbon-fiber components replace or supplement most of the body. The 700-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, coupled with Porsche’s PDK gearbox, accelerates the car from 0 to 62 mph in a mere 2.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 211 mph.
Its aerodynamically optimized bodywork mirrors the iconic 935/78, enhancing stability and driving dynamics. The fully FIA-compliant interior boasts safety features like a welded-in roll cage, roof escape hatch, and Recaro racing seat. The carbon-fiber and Alcantara-trimmed interior includes air conditioning, central locking, and a multi-function steering wheel. Racing-oriented options include a passenger seat, LED lighting, aerodynamic wheel covers, and dual exhaust outlets with distinctive “cookie-cutter” baffles.
This 2019 Porsche 935 is the 13th of 77 examples produced, initially delivered to the selling dealer at the Portimao Algarve International Circuit in Portugal. Subsequently imported to Canada, it participated in events such as the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park Drive Festival hill climb and the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame Celebration of Speed. The car features an exposed carbon-fiber-composite bodywork, Agate Gray roof pillars, a plaid Pfaff Motorsports Porsche wrap, and integrated LED lights in its end plates.
It is currently offered for sale with 587 miles on the odometer by its selling dealer in Ontario, Canada along with the original purchase agreement, a factory spare parts package, and a bill of sale.
