Established in 2009 by Mate Rimac, Croatian automaker Rimac Automobili introduced the Nevera, originally named “C_Two,” at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show as a successor to its first model, the Concept One. The hypercar, named after the fierce lightning storms along Croatia’s Adriatic coast, officially entered production in 2022.
Equipped with four electric motors, the Nevera generates an astonishing 1,914 horsepower and 1,740 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to demolish the 0-60 mph sprint in just 1.85 seconds. It also set an extraordinary quarter-mile time of 8.6 seconds, earning the title of the fastest production car. Additionally, it broke the top-speed record for electric vehicles at 258 mph and shattered 23 acceleration and braking records at a German test track in June 2023.
Live now on Bring a Trailer, this Nevera is the sixth of only 150 planned units. Originally ordered by the renowned Triple F Collection in Ohio, it was delivered in 2023 with Mate Rimac himself present. The car’s carbon-fiber body is finished in pearlescent Nevera Blue, a €20,000 option, and features the Carbon Level 2 Package (€80,000), which adds exposed gloss carbon-fiber accents.
Its aerodynamic features include active elements such as front and rear flaps, a hood vent, and a deployable rear wing. The design is complemented by butterfly doors, dual carbon side mirrors, and necktie-shaped side channels—a nod to Croatia’s cultural heritage. The hypercar rides on polished Vertex wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, while braking is managed by six-piston calipers clamping onto 390mm cross-drilled carbon-ceramic rotors. The double-wishbone suspension includes adaptive coilovers, anti-roll bars, and a hydraulic lift system.
Inside, the cabin is upholstered in blue leather with white accents and stitching. Carbon-backed Sabelt seats, anodized metal trim, and billet aluminum controls enhance the interior, while a central touchscreen manages infotainment and telemetry. The Rimac Driver Coach system, using ultrasonic sensors, cameras, and radars, provides real-time driving feedback.
This is the first time that a Rimac Nevera has been offered for sale on Bring A Trailer, and given the platform’s popularity, it will surely attract a lot of attention from enthusiasts. As of this writing, the highest bid sits at $1,025,000 with 10 days to go.
