Summary / Performance Table / Performance Chart / Fastest Cars Ever
This page aims to put all of the performance metrics of Callaway's entire model range (both current and historic) in one place, providing enthusiasts and prospective buyers with valuable insights into each vehicle's acceleration capabilities. We know that 0-60 times don't tell us the full performance picture, but by reviewing 0-60 mph times at least you can get a benchmark for measuring a car's acceleration prowess, and the quarter mile times, which offer a glimpse into its straight-line speed, readers can gain a deeper understanding of Callaway's performance pedigree. Callaway Cars, renowned for their performance enhancements and modifications primarily on Chevrolet vehicles, has produced several notable models over the decades that have pushed the boundaries of speed and performance.
Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette (1988): Perhaps the most iconic of all Callaway creations, the Sledgehammer Corvette set multiple top speed records in its time. Based on the C4 Corvette, it featured a highly modified twin-turbocharged 5.7-liter V8 engine producing over 880 horsepower and 772 lb-ft of torque. The Sledgehammer Corvette achieved a top speed of 254.76 mph in testing, making it the fastest street-legal car of its era and a testament to Callaway's engineering prowess.
Callaway C12 (1999-2001): The Callaway C12 was a limited-production supercar based on the C5 Corvette platform. It featured a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine producing up to 600 horsepower, coupled with a lightweight carbon fiber body and advanced aerodynamics. The C12 boasted impressive performance figures, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in around 3.5 seconds and achieving a top speed of over 200 mph, showcasing Callaway's commitment to combining speed with cutting-edge technology and design.
Callaway Corvette AeroWagen (2017-present): In more recent years, Callaway introduced the AeroWagen conversion for the C7 Corvette. This unique modification transformed the rear of the Corvette into a shooting-brake style hatchback, enhancing cargo space while maintaining the Corvette's performance capabilities. Available with various performance upgrades including supercharging options, the AeroWagen retained the Corvette's powerful engines and agility, offering a blend of practicality and high-speed performance.
Throughout its history, Callaway Cars has continued to innovate and push the envelope in automotive performance, offering enthusiasts and collectors unique and high-performance vehicles that blend speed, engineering excellence, and distinctive styling. Each Callaway model represents a fusion of Chevrolet's iconic platforms with Callaway's expertise in enhancing power, handling, and aerodynamics, creating cars that stand out both on the road and on the track.

Summary
For the 2014 model year, the Chevrolet team sculpted the seventh-generation Corvette into the most sophisticated, most feature-packed Corvette produced to date. Facing a daunting challenge, new technology enabled Callaway engineers to produce breathtaking power with seamless transition into and out of positive manifold pressure.
The Callaway SC627 Stingray or Grand Sport, and the Callaway SC757 Z06 were the three models that all arrived in 2017. Note that these Callaway packages can be applied to existing 2014-2019 Corvettes to make them official Callaway Corvette SC627 or SC757 specifications, which is why the title of our post is 2014 – 2019 vs 2017 when this package was first announced.
Both variants come equipped with a Callaway “GenThree” Supercharger with a “TripleCooled” Intercooler system, a Callaway High-Flow Intake system, Callaway embroidered floor mats, Callaway door sill panels, exterior and interior Callaway badging, Callaway underhood plaque and vehicle identification number, Callaway key fobs, Callaway Corvette authenticity documentation and a 3 year/36,000 mile limited warranty (NOTE: The Callaway warranty supplements the GM factory warranty.
