Today, the first day of the New York Auto Show finished and it had some pleasant surprises. The first of which was Lamborghini who, for the first time, brought a huge display which centered on an exclusive Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggra.
As with the 2006 edition, a Mustang stole the show, this time by reviving the King of the Road name for a limited run of 2008 Shelbys. These will be the most powerful pony produced by Ford who also released the Flex, an unexpected, oversize and stylish SUV. Other highlights were the Infiniti G37, two Mercedes-AMG Special Editions and the Honda S2000 CR.
Tonight we have complied some of Richard Owen’s best shots from the floor in a gallery that includes all the ladies and available supercars. Upon completion of tomorrow’s schedule we will have some new material like the new Subaru WRX and NISMO 350.
