Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary
For the last few months, Ferrari has rallied national clubs and their dealers to celebrate 60 years of Ferrari. These events culminated last weekend with an epic show that gathered 1000 Ferraris at the Fiorano racetrack.
The main feature was a Concours d’Eleganza that may have brought together the best collection of vintage Ferraris ever. Included were classes for all of Ferrari’s eras and a ‘four cilindri’ section that was particularly well curated.
To permanently mark to occasion, Ferrari launched the 612 Sessanta, a redressed 612 with 19 inch wheels, two-tone paint scheme and an electro-chromic roof. The weekend also included demonstration runs from each decade of Ferrari’s success, as well as galas, tours and fine cuisine.
By the end of the weekend, Ferrari decided to hand out the Best of Show honours to the Ferrari 375 MM Scaglietti which was among its toughest competition.
We bring you everything that Ferrari had to show from our crazy photographer Dirk de Jager. Besides the concours cars, his gallery finishes with a page of oddities including an Enzo/FXX hyrid.
