2010 Amelia Island Auction
Held March 12th at the Amelia Island Plantation in Amelia Island, Florida for the first annual time. They sold 58 of 71 cars worth $16,100,000 including the 1931 Voisin Mylord Demi-Berline that fetched $2.75 million. After the auction it was announced that Sir Stirling Moss had bought the Porsche RS61 for $1,705,000. Other notable lots included an unrestored AC-Bristol Ace, the Ferrari 500 Superfast from Mas du Clos and the Palm Beach prototype built by Pinin Farina.
