Automotive Art – Nicolas Rousselet’s “BADASS”

1963 Corvette Grand Sport Artwork

The 1963 Corvette Grand Sport started as a lightweight version based on a prototype that mirrored the new 1963 Corvette. The cars were driven by Roger Penske, Jim Hall and Dick Guldstrand among others. Here is Dick Thompson’s car as he won a 1963 Sport Car Club of America race at Watkins Glen. Artist Nicolas Rousellet conjures an image of one of the most “badass” production racecars of the 1960s.
