Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance (2020) – Ferrari GTO Wins Best of Show

The 14th annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance presented by Mercedes-Benz and AutoNation selected the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Coupe owned by Dr. Richard Workman as its Best of Show. Hosted for the 14th consecutive year at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, the event took place from February 7-9, 2020 and included celebrity guest comedian Billy Gardell.

Over 200 cars and motorcycles were stretched across the show field.

The weekend kicked-off with the Hangar Party at Atlantic Aviation at the Boca Raton Airport. Guests perused an impressive selection of cars, motorcycles, private jets, premier vendors and gourmet tastings from over 25 of South Florida’s restaurants.

Timeless Classics like this Delahaye were featured during the all-new Mecum Gallery Exposition at the 14th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance.

New this year, Mecum Auctions presented the “Gallery Exposition” of Millions of Dollars in Collector Cars and a Automotive Fine Arts Society Show (AFAS) on display – all available for purchase — which started on Saturday from 8:00am – 8:00pm and continued through Sunday’s Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance. The Mecum Exposition was a presentation of extraordinary vintage automobiles and art by the Automotive Fine Arts Society (AFAS) with automobile artists from around the country displaying their work and which was available for purchase. Artists included: Tony Sicorski, Richard Pietruska, Dan McCrary, Dennis Brown, David Chapple, Larry Braun and Steve Macy.

The memorable weekend closed with the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, February 9th sponsored by the Rick Case Automotive Group. Guests from around the world experienced an automotive showcase like no other, featuring over 200 cars and motorcycles from an array of time periods and featuring the “Marque of the Year”, Duesenberg.

Founders Award was presented to Stephen and Amy Plaster for their 1932 Stutz DV32 Victoria.

While the “Best of Show Award” was presented to a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Coupe owned by Dr. Richard Workman, additionally, the “Founder Award” was presented to 1932 Stutz DV32 Victoria by Rolston & Co. owned by Stephen Plaster. A full list of award recipients can be found below.
