There has been some debate within these pages about the wood used to make Frank Costinโs Protos F2 cars. The original (wooden) Marcos was said to have been made from โlaminated marine ply,โ because Frankโs partner, Jem Marsh, felt that window dressing was needed. Frank told me that the Marcos was made from what he could buy in his local hardware store.
