La Jolla Concours (2015) – Results

The 11th annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance enjoyed huge crowds under sunny skies last Sunday as it showcased more than 300 collector cars on a cliff-top park overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Concours judges selected winners in 23 classes and named the European Classics 1925-1948 Class-winning 1937 Peugeot Darlmat Cabriolet from the Peter Mullin Collection as Best of Show. Additionally, the Peugeot was named winner of the Phillip Wichard Memorial Trophy, one of 16 Special Awards also presented.

Other class winners of note included: the 1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Aerodynamic Coupe (above) from The Margie and Robert E. Petersen Collection in Class 4-A, Rolls-Royce Phantoms; the 1966 Ferrari 275 Grand Turismo Berlinetta of W. Malcolm and Naomi Barksdale in Class 5-B, Ferraris; the 1967 Lamborghini Miura Coupe of Dr. Raphael Gabay and Gary Bobileff in Class 8-B, Italian Sports; and the 1967 Jaguar XKE Roadster of Tom Krefetz in Class 9-C, Jaguar E-Types.
