The Milhous Collection

Boca Raton, Florida

February 24-25, 2012

RM’s auction of the Milhous Collection in Boca Raton, Florida was headlined by an impressive series of vehicles that represented the development of the automobile during the last century with Brass era cars sharing the stage with coachbuilt classics and a stable of historically significant Indianapolis racing cars. Curiously, for an auction that was somewhat off the beaten path, every lot offered was a ‘best of category’ example which speaks to the care and resources devoted by the Milhous brothers in compiling the collection.  Strong prices were recorded across all categories with multiple bidders often engaging in spirited contests and the estimates were exceeded almost universally across the board.
