Scottsdale, Arizona

January 15-22, 2012

While many faced the coming of 2012 with trepidation, Barrett-Jackson embraced the new year with an increase of more than $22 million dollars from last year’s results for a total of $90.6 million and a sell-through rate a few tenths away from perfection. While watching the auction live on television would lead one to believe that the proceedings are more flash than cash, the numbers and lots offered tell a different tale. The record selling price for the Tucker is one thing, but the results received for the other “5000 series cars” were as impressive as the reported gate of  270,000 at the Westworld Equestrian Center.
