Ultra-Rare Bugatti Centodieci Heads to Auction

A hypercar that pays homage to the legendary EB110

RM Sotheby’s is set to auction a remarkable 2022 Bugatti Centodieci, one of only 10 examples ever produced, with an estimated price range of $10.5 to $15.5 million. This hypercar pays homage to the legendary EB110 of the 1990s while embodying Bugatti’s cutting-edge engineering and design.

The Centodieci, which translates to “110” in Italian, celebrates the 110th anniversary of Bugatti, originally founded by Ettore Bugatti in 1909. Introduced at The Quail in 2019, it also honors Romano Artioli’s Italian revival of Bugatti in the early 1990s, epitomized by the EB110. It has wedge-like motifs, a compact horseshoe grille, narrow headlights, circular C-pillar intakes, and a fixed rear wing—all nods to the iconic EB110.

Underneath its heritage-inspired design lies advanced technology. The Centodieci is based on the Chiron platform but boasts enhancements that set it apart. Its 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W-16 engine produces 1,600 horsepower. With a 20-kilogram weight reduction and refined steering dynamics, the Centodieci rockets from 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 236 mph.

This specific Centodieci, chassis number 006, features a striking Quartz White and Grey Carbon exterior paired with a luxurious Beluga Black and Gris Rafale leather interior. The attention to detail extends to Black Anodized trim and Glacier door sills. Ordered new by a Swiss collector in 2019, it has been meticulously maintained and has only accumulated 437 kilometers (272 miles).

The Centodieci’s exclusivity is further underscored by its documentation, including the original purchase contract, build specifications and TÜV paperwork. Delivered in September 2022, its four-year manufacturer’s warranty remains active until 2026, offering buyers additional peace of mind.

As one of the rarest modern Bugattis, the Centodieci represents the pinnacle of the W-16 era. This engine, a marvel of internal combustion engineering, is among the most complex ever fitted to a road car. With Bugatti transitioning to hybridized V-16 powertrains, models like the Centodieci are a milestone in the brand’s evolution.

Set to be offered at RM Sotheby’s Paris auction on February 5, 2025, this Centodieci is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for collectors. Its rarity, stunning design, and low mileage make it a desirable addition to any collection.
