Aston Martin has unveiled the production version of the Valhalla, a supercar positioned between traditional supercars and hypercars, with deliveries expected to be mid-next year.
Built on a carbon fiber tub co-developed with Aston Martin’s F1 team and featuring aluminum subframes, the Valhalla is powered by a heavily revised, AMG-sourced 4.0L twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 producing 817 hp. Three electric motors add another 248 hp, totaling 1,064 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque. Two motors power the front axle for all-wheel drive and torque vectoring, while the third is integrated into the new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The Valhalla accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 217 mph. Active aerodynamics generate 600 kg of downforce between 150 mph and its top speed. As Aston Martin’s first plug-in hybrid, it offers a 14 km EV-only range at speeds up to 80 mph.
