Rare 2014 Pagani Huayra Tempesta up for sale

Upgraded with the Tempesta package

The Huayra is Pagani’s second supercar following the successful Zonda. Similar in design, it uses a Mercedes-sourced V12 engine and takes advantage of Pagani’s in-house carbon fiber expertise. Named after a Quechua wind god from South America, the car blends cutting-edge innovation with a nod to founder Horacio Pagani’s Argentinian heritage.

It is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine that generated 730 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque. To harness this immense power, Pagani introduced active aerodynamics using four independently controlled flaps that dynamically adjusted for drag reduction, increased downforce, or reduced body roll based on speed, steering, and throttle input.

This engineering marvel achieves a top speed of 238 mph and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. Limited to only 100 coupes, the Huayra offered extensive customization options. It also marked Pagani’s debut as a fully U.S.-compliant manufacturer, complete with robust dealer and after-sales support.

Listed for sale on Bring A Trailer, this 2014 Pagani Huayra is the 78th of the 100 coupes produced between 2011 and 2018. Delivered new to British Motor Car Distributors in San Francisco, it features the coveted “Tempesta” package. This performance-focused upgrade enhances aerodynamics and reduces weight, featuring a titanium exhaust system, Öhlins coilovers, staggered-diameter wheels, and redesigned carbon fiber components, including the front splitter, underbody panels, and rear diffuser.

The car’s silver exterior is paired with a black leather interior adorned with Pagani’s signature carbon fiber and aluminum trim. Additional features include a seven-speed automated manual transaxle with a single clutch, pushrod-operated adjustable suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes with red calipers, active aerodynamics, a handcrafted aluminum gearshift with exposed linkage, a premium Sonus faber sound system, and a touchscreen infotainment system.
