Bid on this modern masterpiece: 2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 Roadster

One of only 20 roadsters produced

The 2017 Lamborghini Centenario was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birth, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Miura’s debut at the 1966 Geneva Auto Show.

The Centenario’s design is striking, with an extreme height-width ratio that immediately stands out. It measures 45 inches in height and nearly 7 feet in width, excluding the mirrors. Both its carbon fiber monocoque chassis and sharp-edged body panels showcase Lamborghini’s signature aggressive styling.

The body is adorned with scoops and vents carefully positioned to slice through the air, while the rear diffuser is both bold and effective. The 20-inch forged wheels include carbon-fiber blades to direct airflow to the ventilated, cross-drilled carbon-ceramic brakes.

The Centenario features a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine delivering 759 horsepower to its all-wheel-drive system via a 7-speed transmission. Its suspension, rear steering, and electronically controlled rear spoiler enhance performance, achieving 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph. The car’s interior combines high-tech infotainment with carbon-fiber sport seats, blending comfort and ferocity in true Lamborghini fashion.

Hand-built in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, and barely driven with just 163 kilometers showing on the odometer, this 2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 Roadster is one of but 20 roadster produced and was delivered to Japan’s largest Lamborghini dealer and remains in their private collection. It’s expected to fetch between $1.7M and $2.3M at RM Sotheby’s auction on December 1.
