The 812 Competizione boasts an enhanced 6.5-liter V12 engine sourced from the 812 Superfast with lighter internal components, new cylinder heads, and advanced features like low-friction coatings and improved oiling systems. These upgrades deliver an astonishing 819 horsepower, with the engine revving up to an impressive 9,500rpm redline.
Aerodynamic improvements are evident across the body, designed to keep the 812 Competizione firmly planted on the road. One of its most striking features is the wind-tunnel-optimized rear panel, replacing the rear windscreen. The performance stats are equally remarkable: 0-100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 7.5 seconds, and a top speed of 340 km/h. Only 999 units were produced, all quickly sold, cementing the 812 Competizione’s place as an instant classic.
This 812 Competizione, offered by RM Sotheby’s, stands out with just 383 kilometers on the clock and over €80,000 in customization, boosting its original €485,195 price. It features a striking Blu America two-layer paint with a Giallo Fly central stripe and Nero border.
Yellow accents extend to the brake calipers and Pirelli Color Edition tires, mounted on 20-inch matt black forged racing wheels. A carbon fiber rear diffuser and air vents enhance the exterior, while the interior boasts Blu Scuro Alcantara racing seats with yellow stitching and carbon fiber details. Additional features include a front suspension lifter and parking cameras.
This 812 Competizione will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s next month, with an estimated value between €1,200,000 and €1,400,000 ($1,300,000 – $1,550,000 USD), and will be supplied with its Ferrari Classiche “Yellow Book.”
