Last week, McLaren unveiled the W1 as the successor to the P1, and now Ferrari has introduced its newest supercar: the F80. Limited to just 799 units, the F80 follows in the footsteps of the legendary supercars made by Ferrari such as the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari.
Its architecture features a carbon-fiber chassis and groundbreaking aerodynamic solutions, including a new active suspension system that maximizes track performance. Uniquely, the F80 balances its track-focused design with exceptional drivability, making it accessible for everyday use.
The F80’s powertrain is inspired by the motorsport innovations seen today. It uses a turbo V6 engine paired to a hybrid system which is similar to their successful 499P race car which clinched two consecutive victories at the demanding 24 Hours of Le Mans. The V6-hybrid setup produces an impressive 1,200 horsepower, making the F80 the most powerful road car Ferrari has ever built.
There’s still a lot things you should know about the Ferrari F80, so we suggest that you watch this video from Top Gear on YouTube to learn more about this new supercar that costs $4 million USD!
