Many consider Ferrari the best automotive manufacturer in the world, with iconic models like the 250 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari. On the other hand, Nissan is more commonly associated with reliable, everyday vehicles, although it has produced notable sports cars like the GT-R series, 370Z, and many more.
So, what happens when a V12-powered Ferrari 812 Superfast goes against a Nissan GT-R Nismo in a drag race? Well, the results will definitely surprise you as you can see in the latest video shared by carwow on YouTube.
The GT-R has half the cylinders of the Ferrari with its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, generating 600 horsepower and 652 Nm of torque. It’s equipped with all-wheel drive, a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, and weighs 1,725 kg.
On the other hand, the Ferrari 812 Superfast features a monstrous 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, delivering 800 horsepower and 718 Nm of torque. It’s rear-wheel drive, with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and weighs 1,630 kg.
The GTR’s all-wheel drive gives it a great launch, but can the Ferrari’s extra power make up the difference? Watch the video to find out!
